Facing the seafront, LiVEMAX RESORT Kyotango Sea Front is a ryokan providing a 3-star accommodation in Kyotango. It features an open-air bath, massage services and private parking. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and a lift, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The ryokan has parking on-site, a sauna and a housekeeping service. The Kitchen staff was extremely kind and accommodating my dietary restrictions. The access from the hotel to a few beaches were excellent. They even gave us a bag of towels to take. The view of Sunset from the hotel roof-top was spectacular! We enjoyed our stay.
Kuminohama Onsen-kyo, Kyotango
Boasting a large hot spring bath and an outdoor swimming pool, Resorpia Kumihama is located along the Kumihama Bay. It also features a lounge, on-site shops. Free WiFi access is available in the lobby.
The resort offers free pick-up shuttles from both Kumihama Train Station, a 10-minute drive away, and JR Toyooka Station, a 30-minute drive away. Famous Amanohashidate is a 1-hour train ride away.
Nonetheless, the sea is not that far (30 min walk) and they have an onsen (but forbidden for tattooed people).
Their breakfast was good and with a lot in quantity.
The service is nice with the tourists.

For Japan, we got a very spacious room with big bed. The hotel gives you a feeling of luxury and is also aesthetically pleasing. Delicious breakfasts, good location.
The ammenities were amazing, the onsen was so nice and so was the bedroom; the lady running the place was an absolute gem and was so nice to speak with every day. Made it feel like you were returning home to a home stay every night :) The whole room would be cleaned, fresh towels and robes each day with a new snack on the bedside. It was truly luxury.
We didn take tbe breakfast but really enjoyed the free drinks and nibbles at night and enjoyed meeting other guests there. Coffee cake and chocolate as well as wide range of alcoholic and not drinks. A true luxury hotel in all aspects. So close to metro infact next door to it. Higashiyama station that takes you to city and easy access Nara via JR line interchange so no need tour there. We did other tours though of Gion and Sagano train.
The location is perfect for the resorts and shopping center. The staff were helpful and the facilities were clean.
Luxury vibes for reasonable price
The interior design of the hotel looks luxury and very cosy. Don't expect any view from the window but the ambient light and the decorations in your room are very satisfying. There is everything you need in your room and it is also quite spacious for japanese standards. Super comfy bed, big TV, separate toilet, spacious shower room. Amazing value for the price.
The friendliest staff you will ever find in Kyoto, and receptionists are available 24hrs. Outstanding service and English speaking establishment, great for foreigners. The location is conveniently near multiple Konbinis, and a laundromat
The size and comfort of my room felt like luxury to me after spending a week in a cheaper hotel beforehand. Everything was very clean, and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was nothing special, but had good variety. The location is decent too.
breakfast was amazing. I used to stay at the ritz carlton for all of my stay when in kyoto but I looked too last minute and most of the luxury hotels was full already. with this price it's definitely value for money!
