Everything you could want in a hotel. Great ambiance, lovely rooms, and friendly staff. In you are wondering where to stay in Petra, this is definitely the place. One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in.

We felt at home! The staff here are absolutely amazing especially Atala. He showed us around Little Petra before we left and he offered to spend the whole day with us free of charge. He also gave each of us special gifts. If you want to experience authentic Bedouin hospitality, this is the place to be. We lit a small fireplace at night and were sitting under the stars chatting. Atala did all the he can to make sure we have a great experience. He also called multiple friends to use as translators for the French Tourists that were staying with us. The rooms are all air-conditioned which made our experience very comfortable. I highly recommend this place for the staff and for the Bedouin experience. Also this is the most reasonable campsite that we found around Petra.

This is a review for the Movenpick, as we were upgraded since the Grand Mercure was closed. The Movenpick was fine. Service was very good and rooms were clean. Selection at the breakfast was lacking, variety was very small and the buffet was almost empty both days we were there at 9:00. I think the hotel was mostly empty during this time but I would have expected better breakfast. Everything was just OK, but again we were upgraded and paid Grand Mercure prices for the Movenpick, I would not have been so content if we paid Movenpick prices.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location with a wonderful breakfast. The staff were exceptional and the accomodations were great! We visited Petra and stayed at the Petra Moon Luxury Hotel-not sure if the other Petra Moon Hotel is as nice as this one. Lovely roof top pool.
Very nice resort with the flavor of a historical village. It's a family run business and you can really feel the personal touch.
