Simple but good place at the north end of the cliff. Staff were very helpful, although communication was sometimes hard. We had a basic room with no AC, so there were some mosquitos, but with the super powerful fan on it wasn't really a problem. Sheets and bathroom all clean, and the breakfast was lovely on the patio next to the beautiful garden. House is at the top end of the cliff, so a walk to the south end, but the black beach is very close, and a bit better for swimming, and there's loads of restaurants and bars close so no problem with the location

We loved our stay at Maadathil cottages so much that we extended for an extra two nights! They were full so we were put in the Maadathil beach resort, just next door and had an even better view! The location is amazing, right on the beach and just a walk into Varkala cliff. The menu is great with many options, also it’s worth trying Babu farm for fish just a 5 minute walk away. The staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Overall we loved our stay and will be back.
Amazing stay at East west beach resort. It is located at very peaceful and scenic location, you can hear the waves crashing the rocks. Sabir went extra mile to provide us with fresh fish. Rooms were very clean and i will surely visit with my family, it's Heaven

Simply the kindest, most welcoming host. Great location set back from the helipad with a tranquil and bright front courtyard. Jijo and Girish are the heart and soul of this property. They are very caring, supportive and eager to help you out... always with a smile. Girish also has an ice cream parlor next to Clafouti Beach Resort. I recommend that place too.
