The location is great! Close to restaurants, shops and a nice walk from the Old City. The hotel has various activities such as folk dance performances and aqua fit sessions every morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was an excellent choice of buffet food. The spa, indoor and outdoor pool were great and the direct access to the beach was fantastic. The wine and fruit in our room was much appreciated. The balcony was lovely with views of the sea.

They upgraded my two friends and I with our children to rooms in a newer building so we could all be next to each other as we all had booked separately and different room types.The buffet breakfast and dinner was very good with a wide variety and fresh vegetables and fruits . The hotel was spotless.

This has to be one of the finest places to stay anywhere in Crete. We wanted somewhere small where you get the personal touch, yet somewhere operating to luxury standards. Here we got both. By the end we got to know all the staff who were exceptional. Nowhere have I felt more relaxed than here in 25 years of travelling. Location is perfect for easy access to the whole of wonderful Plakias.
The resort is very nicely decorated and very clean. Lots of greenery around the pools. The location is very good, close to the beach (there is a road between the resort and the beach) and close to the town of Plakias, where you can go on foot. The reception staff is very friendly and ready to help.
Nice resort, this was our 5th stay. The previous one was in 2017 And I had to admit the premises Is getting old. ( The kitchen pots And pans, the bathrooms). But the Garden Is beautifull, the over all cleanlines Is very good And the reception staff Is very nice And helpfull. The WiFi in the room worked OK And beds were comfortable. We also enjoyed free sun beds ( both beach And pool).

Nice resort style hotel right in the heart of Plakias. Lovely to be able to stroll the seawalk and town just steps from the hotel. Breakfast and dinner buffets were included, the food was good with lots to choose from and the restaurant staff were wonderful! As were the reception staff, they made sure we were happy and enjoying ourselves. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a resort type hotel.
This was our second stay at Kalypso and we find everything great value for money. As we're do not spend alot of time at the resort other than sleeping and breakfast it is perfect for needs. The rooms are large with fantastic sea views and breakfast had a nice variety. I find the ladies on reception to be lovely and willing to help with any requests.
The hotel staff is fantastic, great people! Also the location is amazing. Very good value for money. The all inclusive had good food and they made one per week a Greek dinner. Good and big parking and amazing views with a private beach.
Kalypso resort was such a surprise for us! It's a breathtaking place through rocks and deep sea...we loved it! The staff had a very kind behavioral approach and made us feel at home! We appreciated it a lot and definitely we'll be back! It was just an exploration this time!

The room was compact, but had all the facilities needed. The rooms are close to the sea and close to the shops and restaurants of the resort. The beach is on the doorstep and other beaches are in walking distance.
