I liked the resort but it was massive! The food was excellent. Service was excellent. I would not recommend it for couples/honeymooners. I would recommend it for families and large groups.
We loved our stay at HM Alma de Bayhibe. All the stuff were friendly and helpful, amazing entertainment team which made our stay interesting as we participated in all kinds of activities organised at the resort.
All the excursions were booked at the resort which is very convenient and secure and we enjoyed every single excursion, especially Saona island

Lovely resorty vibes in mostly a relaxed dive town. Comfortable room and stay. Lovely friendly staff. Particularly loved the poolside area to relax in. Restaurant was great too.

The bed was a little hard but it did not affect my sleep too much. we found the staff to be great and willing to help and assist in any way. I would return to this resort at my earliest convenience.
A spectacular pool gave us the feeling we were at a resort when we were right in the middle of town--a short walk to everything, including the world-renowned Bayahibe Beach. The front desk staff was welcoming and so helpful with any request. I loved that there was parking right in front of the hotel. So convenient.

The resort itself is beautiful, cozy and intimate, it was a pleasure walking around in the evening. The rooms are big, modern and clean (we especially loved the double shower). The beach is lovely and they have quite a few activities (yoga, dance lessons) that you can do during the day. The food was diverse and fresh - we likedthe bloved and peruvian restaurants the most; stuff was friendly and eager to make your stay as pleasurable as possible
Food is amazing. Buffet was solid to great every day. Carribbean restaurant was great! English proficiency wasn't amazing, but we could get by. Pool was okay. Clean overall. Okay beach. Considering it's probably one of the cheaper all inclusive resorts, I'd recommend it.
A wonderful beach resort to enjoy, Everything is clean, spacious, calm and very pretty. It is the perfect location for a romantic getaway. The apartments are large and would also allow for a longer stay. The food was very delicious.
