This resort seemed to have the most actual beach and sand compared to other hotels on the island. I went on a boat ride around the island and lot of them didn’t have as much beach access. The employees were super helpful and kind. The room was great and comfortable! And there were plenty of lounge chairs, even with the day trippers, they never ran out of chairs.

The ocean is beautiful and the dock is really nice - much nicer than the tiny beaches we saw in other resorts. Free use of the kayaks was nice and we paddled out to a tiny island in the distance. The beds were nice and soft, though the bed in the master suite had some waving lumps. The staff is very friendly and would serve us anywhere on the property we happened to be.

Facilities were great, the staff was very kind, the resort is very well equipped for a comfortable and nice holiday, the views and location are amazing. Food was very nice and they offered free kayak and bioluminescent plankton which are both unforgettable experiences

Highly recommend spending the night vs just doing a day trip. There are only 6 rooms and we felt like we had the entire resort to ourselves after the day tirip guests left. The staff was amazing and took great care of us.

A really down to earth, fun eco-hostel that was more attuned to the landscape and environment compared with some of the more garish resorts on the island. Lavi and her staff are incredibly helpful hosts. The bar/restaurant is surprisingly good, and the various activities are fun and reasonably priced! Great snorkeling close by. The private room we stayed in was not luxurious, but wonderful and overlooking the water and sunset. Would definitely come back here!

We LOVED our stay at Isla del Sol. This rustic, intimate beach resort was absolutely gorgeous. Clean facilities, well maintained and an incredible staff made this such a special vacation for us.

This is not a luxury resort. It is a local experience on a property with a fantastic location, beach and waterfront, at back and front. Remember you are on an island and enjoy being immersed into local way of life and culture. Order meals early and tell them what time you want to eat, they make to order so it takes an hour.
