This gem of a retreat was exactly what me and my husband needed after a rough year. We stayed in December at the height of the wet season. It rained at various levels 3 out of the 4 days we were there but that did not affect our experience in the least. I believe it added to it. Soon after arriving I booked not 1 but 2 spa sessions; a massage and the next day a salt scrub. I felt so rejuvenated! One should not miss out on the spa experience. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. I even did Yoga every morning because Eva made it enjoyable and I don't do Yoga. The rooms were very clean, well stocked (drinks, bug spray, sun block, etc.) and quite comfortable. We love that there are only 10 huts with a max of 20 adults. We lucked out and had the place to ourselves for the first 24 hours. More couples arrived in the days that followed and everyone was so lovely to get along with. We did a whole lot of nothing during our stay which is exactly why I booked Elysian. However, if you want to do some non-motorized water activities those are available along with some hiking. We enjoyed all the delicious 5 star meals and drinks! The property is a dream and we are looking forward to going back someday. Note: We were able to take the amphibious boat in from Airlie Beach. If you are going in and out of Hamilton Island, you do need take a helicopter.

Hamilton Island is so beautiful. We have stayed a few times in wonderful accommodation that was much cheaper than the Palm Bungalows, with fantastic amenities and amazing views. We were expecting luxury and comfort and privacy ( this was not the case) for paying over $550 per night. Very basic amenities and not cleaned daily as they came at 8.15am and we were sleeping in on Holidays.

Great resort, nice clean room and excellent facilities and inclusions! Our family especially enjoyed the included breakfast, and the beach activities (sailing etc) included as part of our stay. Great location, a short walk to everywhere you need to go. Would stay again.

Swimming pool looked great for kids and was well-loved by the resort guests. There was an excellent family vibe at the apartments and lots of happy, smiley, content parents enjoying a break from the rat race.

The apartment was great. Over three levels. Heaps of space. Three toilets (but one didn't flush well). Great view from the top level. Full kitchen. Close to the main resort village. The apartment was ready when we arrived even though it was before checkin time. The host allowed us to keep the buggy on check out until our flight later in the day and delivered the bags to the airport. Very very helpful.

Hamilton Island is fantastic, and we chose this resort as it was the level of luxury we wanted. It was more expensive than what you'd receive on the mainland, but for Hamilton Island, everything is expensive. I liked the attentive service at this resort. Great breakfast included.
