The hotel occupies a whole big block right in the historic center of an old town. It has cute and cosy streets, gardens, restaurant and a pool in the territory. Very good sophisticated breakfast. Rooms are posh and in style. It is like travelling to the past with all the comfort. Light shading is no problem at all, you won't even notice it untill you leave the hotel. Great experience, absolutely a must! In Graaf Reitnet there is plenty of things to see and to do, much more then for one day. We regret we didn't stay more.

Situated in Chintsa, 1.4 km from Chintsa Beach, Purple Haze Eco Lodge features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. What can I say. I arrived at 11pm after a hellish 15-hour drive from St Lucia but this wasn't a problem for Loaf who was just concerned for my safety. Purple Haze enjoys a great location, elevated for views of the beach and ocean from rooms, balconies or roof viewing deck. Room was clean and comfortable with all I needed for a short break. Power was off for the length of my stay due to a local problem (all East Chintsa) after a scheduled outage, but this didn't ruin my time there only enhanced it strangely. Loaf is a great relaxed host with plenty of time to talk about local points of interest, village and wider news. Love to return sometime as it was the perfect chill time out after too much touring

The House Quarters is set in Kenton on Sea, off Route 72, 22 km from Port Alfred. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. I was travelling with my girlfriend to Kenton on the Sea for a little getaway and some more. Kenton on the sea is a little gem within Eastern Cape and if you stay at the House Quarter, I can guarantee that your travel experience will be perfect. The rooms are super clean, modern, lots of space, fresh scent and all the appliances that you need. Also the power back up was excellent with no break ups in electricity. The mega bonus I must say, the reception lady upgraded us to the largest room (suite). We did not need the additional room with two beds as we were only 2 guests but still, it was very nice to have so much space. The views are amazing too. I would definitely come again. A big plus is also the shopping options with Spar closeby as well as the SPA, in case weather is not great. Thanks again for the upgrade. After being 8 years with my girlfriend, I ve proposed at the beach that evening after check-in. So we will never forget the House Quarters and definitely have to come back where memories have been built.

The historic Royal St. Andrews Hotel, Spa and Conference Centre is located in Port Alfred. Breakfast was delicious with wide varieties. The location perfect and close to the golf course. The staff was so friendly and helpful. A big thanks to Clement, Brenda, Carol and Robyn. You guys rock! The attention you gave us was really awesome and you went all out to make us comfortable and to meet our demands and making our stay unforgettable.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Morgan Bay Hotel is located in Morgan’s Bay. Each room here will provide you with a TV and satellite channels. There is also an electric kettle. Fantastic experience at Morgan Bay, so good we returned to M Bay, a week later, the day before we flew out from East London. As a bonus we got upgraded (Thanks you Nicola! at Reception) to a sea facing room next to the swimming pool. I think we were one of the few that used it that particular day, A tad windy just like home in Ireland. The facilities & room etc. were excellent & the staff couldn't have been friendlier. The Ernie Els red was sublime. Great experience also at the Spa, great way to while away an hour & feeling so refreshed after the pedicure & massage. Very nice touch having the Breakfast menu personalised with the guests names & a little info. on their stay etc. 10/10 for that. Next the food, breakfast was lovely with the freshly, a great array of food & the fried eggs done as we waited, a nice touch. Lovely slices of Cake to finish off. Enjoyed our snack at 6 in the bar before we headed in for a delicious seafood banquet with an array of fish & shellfish that was tricky to finish, but finish it we did, all washed down by the recommended white on the night by the attentive staff. Well worth the detour off the highway to this gem of a spot & all within an hour of East London. Do not miss the opportunity.

Offering daily game drives into Addo Elephant National Park, 8 km away, this Colonial-style house has 2 outdoor pools. With free Wi-Fi, its stylish rooms are in thatched cottages in the garden. The owner and staff were super friendly! The estate is so beautiful and worth visiting! They made the best reservations for dinner and had an amazing breakfast! I can't wait to visit Elephant House again!
