There’s a restaurant with kitchen opened until 8:30pm on the site with a delicious menu to choose from. Sumptuous bathroom with a very good shower, clean rooms with a comfortable bed. It was a great place to rest on our trip from the south to the north of SA. The owner was also very kind and explained us the history of the hotel which used to be on the border.

Rene was helpful and caring and was always available if we needed something. The house was clean and very comfortable and location was great.

Location is excellent..... well worth 2 nights.....with a day down at Buffels River - with the delightful surprise of flamingos being present there, ramble along the Atlantic shore and a drink with Rocky at the Angling Club! Everything you can imagine available at the Cottage and the trust of the owner is much appreciated. Rowena and neighbour Wilfred welcomed us warmly. Morning view down to the sea, as the mists clear, is spectacular! Springbok, Steenbok and Ostrich are among the wildlife you begin to see here, along with the variety and abundance of bird activity at the extraordinary Buffels Riverhead!

Staying here is the best part of travelling for work. It meets all my needs, they cater for my dietary requirements. You are met with a glass of sherry in your room. Rooms are stocked with refreshments and there is nothing you will need in addition. You can take a relaxing stroll around the estate after a hectic day.

Beds were super comfy and warm especially in the -5 temperatures! The restaurant on the premises was amazing, and served delicious food! Staff were all round absolutely wonderful.

Located on the edge of the Kimberley Big Hole, this 4-star hotel offers luxurious rooms with a flat-screen TV. Facilities include an outdoor pool, a 24-hour reception, and car rental. The staff and the hotel gave me a welcoming feeling. The room was very clean and cosy with all the required facilities. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was excellent. I also felt safe within the compound and it was very nice to relax at the lawn overlooking the city.
