I would like to thank the staff at forest edge, they were friendly, place was neat and clean. Breakfast was exceptional and they went out of our way to make pap for us really enjoyed that touch

Everything seems pretty new and is decorated with taste. The rooms have all you need. The breakfast was really amazing! Perfect for a couple of nights in Knysna. They have a restaurant for dinner that is ok. If this could get a bit better, it would deserve to get known because the ambience is lovely.

Good for retreat and relax especially with groups of family and friends. The facilities are great.

The apartment was perfect --stylish, spacious, clean, and cozy. It was perfect for our family of 5 (we took a two-bedroom). The kitchen was large and well fitted, the living room was very nice, the balcony was massive with a seating area, and the bedrooms/bathrooms were comfy and clean. We loved that the floor was heated (such a nice touch). We also loved the area it was at, and the grounds were secure and well-manicured (which is expected in a golf resort). Driving in and out of the resort was really nice as it's on a mountain with superb views. The check-in was smooth. We arrived late and hungry, so the lovely front desk staff suggested we order room service from the restaurant. It was delivered quickly and was very delicious. Our apartment was not too far from the main club house for breakfast; as the weather was crisp and cool, it was perfect for a morning walk. The staff at the restaurant were delightful and accommodating...the breakfast buffet was the best we've had whilst in South Africa. Their hot chocolate was a hit with the kids. We weren't able to golf, sadly, as we were on a schedule, but it would be great to bring our clubs next time. The golf course looked fantastic! I used the laundry service, and our items were finished and delivered to our room the next day. They were not ironed, so make sure you specify that option if you need to. The laundry service was reasonably priced (they charge per kilo). What we liked about staying in Knysna is that it was quite central to areas we wanted to visit, like Tsitsikamma Natl Park, and Cango Caves. We enjoyed having dinner some evenings at the Knysna Waterfront (only a 10 min drive). I would definitely stay here again when in Knysna! 3 days was not enough!

It was a beautiful and great place to stay. We had everything we needed. We used the braai, slept very well and enjoyed the sunset with a cool drink.

The location was superb. Totally private with endless views of the Knysna forest. Cozy fireplace.

There is a fun room with bar and pool table and in units dominos and cards for a long stay and not to mention the pool erea.

The place is in the middle of the forest, surrounded by nature and everything comes with it. The location is secluded, tranquile and peaceful. The house is very well equipped, the staff provided us with everything we needed, the breakfast and the dinner were very good!

The staff and cleanliness were excellent.

The owners, they were most helpful in pointing out things to do and best ways to get there, both of them were very knowledgeable of the area. The breakfast was very satisfying. The room was always very clean after coming back from a day out. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The setting and ambiance of Emily Moon is fantastic. The rooms are absolutely luxurious and every detail is taken into account. The staff is really friendly. We met the owner and general manager personally and chatted with them for a long time.

The views and the place itself was absolutely stunning! It was exactly like it was shown in the picture. The finer detailed touches with their preparation of the unit was exceptional and very special. It was quiet and you could just relax and unwind. We really were sad to leave Thank you very much to the host and their staff. Hoping to see you again

Great room. Great garden Great breakfast. Room is very big. Bed was very comfortable. Omelet breakfast was delicious. Lots of nice facilities that unfortunately I didn't have enough time to use. Beautiful garden with lots of friendly bunnies.

Most amazing view, 10 from 10 points. Excellent food and wine. Familial atmosphere. Beautiful style of the interior.
