Traveling between Cape Town and Grahamstown we decided to sleep over in George. We were welcomed by our host Ken . What a great host he is . Showed us the apartment which was much more than expected. A great place to have spent more than one day. Everything we needed was there and more. Lounge , huge kitchen and a huge bathroom with shower and a bath . Perfect safe parking behind a security gate. Beautiful yard with beautiful plants and a pool . I just loved the passion fruit vine full of fruit in the backyard running along the fence.

The Peaks will be rated as one of the best places we've stayed in! The apartment is brand new with outstanding finishes and equipment. Every possible comfort you can think of was catered for in the most luxurious way. From beautiful decor to lovely linen with an extremely comfortable bed and big plush towels, we felt spoiled. Our hosts were incredible and super helpful. The location is perfect, with spectacular views of the George mountains in a quiet, safe golf estate. This is our new "home" for George visits.

Modern apartment with all the necessary requirements that you need for a weekend breakaway and even for a longer stay. Well located for easy access to George and restaurants as well as outdoor activities (hiking/cycling in the mountains). The swimming pool was a great bonus as we could cool off over a very hot weekend and the air-conditioning in the room also was well appreciated

I had a wonderful stay at Oakhurst. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful (I arrived very late from Cape Town and they were very welcoming and understanding!). The rooms are very comfortable and extremely clean. The hotel is very central and close to several good restaurants as well as the mountain trails. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in George.

The friendliness, professionalism, courtesy and excellent service and communication of Christine, Shane and the team, the breakfast and dinner. Nothing was too much for them - they even got a Nespresso machine for our room. The views, atmosphere, quietness and the gardens. This is a real gem and would advise anyone who visit the George area to stay at Hilltop Boutique Hotel

A very nice hotel in George. The young man at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and simple. The room was quiet and comfortable. The Loerie Guest Lodge was a perfect place to stay during our road trip heading to Cape Town. The hotel was well located, in easy reach of the Wilderness Beach and the Fat Fish restaurant.

The Breakfast was average not Three Star rating as I have worked in a Three Star Hotel. Unfortunately the Person representing the Owner was Reception Host / Maintenance was also the Breakfast Chef and Waiter. Location was out of the City of George. The Bed was comfortable, and shower with my own Shower Gel. Partner used the only Shower Gel.

I heartily recommend this hotel if you're searching for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel's owner and staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The breakfast was tasty with a nice river view. We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights in the south-side wilderness area, which was only ten minutes by driving to George Town.

This apartment is in a good neighborhood, it is spacious and has everything you need in a home away from home. The apartment was neat and clean. Parking is secure behind an electric gate and you have your own private entrance. I would definitely recommend Silver Guest Studio to anyone looking to stay in George.

Second time staying at this establishment. Well appointed studio apartment in a very nice suburb of George. Friendly and accommodating hosts. Nice location close to the Botanica cal Garden. Within walking distance of York Square with a choice of restaurants. Safe parking, and very peaceful.

The Hawthorne Boutique Hotel is set in a beautiful location on the outskirts of George, the gardens are extremely well kept, with the general ambiance creating a very restful environment. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spotless. The staff go out of their way to be accommodating and helpful.

Beautiful, immaculate apartment. We were comfortable, we had everything we needed and more. Comfort, style, location, just perfect. We are going back to George soon again, and will once again book into this incredible place. Thank you Esmè and Fadi, for making us feel so at home.

The entire experience. The complex, parking, apartment, layout etc etc ..., not a problem at all just the nearby vehicles noise level ... but ok & a really lovely stay. I'll def consider for any future visits stays in George.

Our host john is the best. He goes the extra mile in ensuring that u r happy as his guests. The apartment is cozy n clean. With everything in close proximity. Will definitely be bck should i go to George again

Very nice place. Host was welcoming and very polite. She truly showed the South African spirit of Ubuntu/Botho, even threw a few Xhosa phrases in there. Thank you. Will surely come again when in George.

Exquisite little ecopod, in beautiful George- South Africa’s best kept secret. Conveniently close to the airport and not too far from lovely hiking spots. The wildlife and canoeing on the dam were a treat!

A very well equipped, clean apartment. Sonia is very helpful and accomodating. Our second stay and we will most definitely stay again when in George.

Oubaai Hotel Golf & Spa is a beautiful and tranquil hotel conveniently situated close to the George Airport.
