Whilst the Game sightings are limited, the scenery and rock art are fantastic.

Located in the Olifant River Valley, the Clanwilliam Hotel features a traditional Cape Dutch building. The hotel is 5 minutes' drive from the Clanwilliam Dam. Everything. It was a pleasure staying at the hotel.

Hosts are very welcoming and friendly. The location is amid a citrus orchard and the host trasmits a lot of knowledge about the biology of the citrus and its cultivation.

Featuring mountain views, Alpha Excelsior Guest Farm features accommodation with patio, around 43 km from Wupperthal Museum. Alpha is situated in a very beautiful area and is surrounded by orange sandstone mountains. We stayed at the Vineyard cottage which was clean, comfortable and has a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage is quite secluded and it felt that we were the only ones on the farm. One of our highlights was a walk to a waterfall and we were led by one of the farm dogs. He looked after us throughout the walk and we didn't need to look at signs. We had a few swims in the farm dam which was a real pleasure. We left very refreshed. We can highly recommend Alpha.

Well designed, spacious lodge, great food and v friendly, helpful staff. The massage was great. We had room with hot tub which was lovely. V relaxing. Only 22 guests at full capacity which we liked

I had a great stay. Safe area. Good and safe car parking. nice big room. Small tea kitchen and good fridge. Friendly and helpful staff. Good braii area.
