An amazing property on the outskirts of Calvinia in the hantam karoo. Spotlessly clean, beautiful white towels , and spacious. X2 bbq (braai) indoor and outdoor . Well equipped kitchen and great veranda (stoop) for relaxing , views of the hills and mountains , peaceful . Farm eggs were also provided which was a bonus. Karen was very friendly when checking in and there is a high level of security at the property. Great WiFi also

Our unit had its own private pool, which was wonderful after a long, hot day on the road. In addition to towels in the bathroom, beach towels were provided for the pool. The unit itself was large, comfortable, well equipped and clean. In addition to air-conditioning, the unit had solar-powered lights for load shedding. Check-in was easy and the hosts friendly and helpful. And the views were stunning!

We found this accommodation on booking.com. It was much nicer than we expected. The room was stunning. The hostess was extremely friendly and helpful. She recommended a great restaurant for dinner. The next morning we had to leave early to get to Cape Town. She offered us a "to go" breakfast which was amazing! It held us through breakfast and lunch. I wish we had been able to spend more than one night here.

Liz, Francois and the dogs were so welcoming! The cottage is beautiful, spacious, bright and nicely decorated. It is lovely and warm and the gas heater and electric blankets were great touches. Wifi works well and just a fantastic place to stay. Highly reccommend staying here:)
