Quang Ngai is not a tourist town. It is very poor and rundown. It is not on the beaten track for your regular tourist bus. We only came here to visit our World Vision sponsored child and would not have come otherwise. A Westerner in this place is like a visitor from outer space!! My wife & I were mobbed in a local shopping centre by teenagers wanting a selfie with us! Mothers showed us to their children. People Don't speak English well here - even in the hotels - they are not used to Westerners. However, the Vietnamese people are the most humble, caring, thoughtful people who can't do enough for you.
Quang Ngai
It's a family hostel which provides excellent facilities for travelers. Spacious room, comfy bed, cold A/C, hot shower. While some Dalat and Nha Trang hostels charges 10k for a cup of hot water, Quang Ngai provides hot and drinking water, ice cubes, refrigerator for us. The motorbike rental is only 100k/day, and I rented for 3 days. Owner is very nice and helpful.
Ly Son
Host is trully nice. She picked us at the port to help us bring suitecases to the hotel, even if hotel is opposite. She suggested to upgrade our room without any charge because such room is available at that time. She helped us deliver suitecases to Muong Thanh (our last day in Ly Son). And she supported us to buy tickets to visit Small Island and Quang Ngai.
I stayed one night -- 20/01/24 to 21/01/24. The hotel was the most interesting one on Booking.com for Quang Ngai. All gold and white. Like a palace. It was all quite kitsch, but it is definitely a unique property that stands out from the blandness of most other hotels which I loved about it. It's also fairly central.
Both the owner and the staff there were very nice and helpful. Facilities looked new and clean. My parents had a wonderful experience at the hotel, which was kind of rare in Quang Ngai considering our previous experiences. I hope the hotel would be maintained properly and the staff would keep up their good work.
Breakfast provided was adequate.
Outstanding value for money. Excellent shower and bathroom area . Inclusive breakfast was superb, spoilt for choice . New build reflected the quality of everything.

The villa is really nice, the room is clean and comfort. I have a great 4 hours sleep after 2 days stay awake because of coffee. The view from the room also the villa is super chill. I’ll stay here again next time I go to Quang Ngai. Highly recommend !
