Kon Tum is a great place for a cultural experience! There are many hotels that are great no need to book! There are hardly any tourists in this area but a very high level of English from most, unlike much of Vietnam! Reccomend visiting a school, meet students, converse with many lovely Vietnamese people! The orphanage is home to many many beautiful children who appreciate anyone coming to play with them and give them cuddles. We took many sweets and learning toys down.. All ages! It's behind the wooden church, which is also worth a visit! Doing a Homestay with someone who lives in the ethnic village is awesome.. A trekk through the jungle behind the village and a boat ride back with dinner and breakfast! Awesome! Loved Kon Tum made menu friends and will return when in Vietnam!!
Kon Tum
The best thing was the staff! Both staff members were so friendly and helpful, we loved chatting to them. We arrived really early in the morning from our night bus and we were able to check in early which was great! Great central location, we were able to walk to the wooden church and the Kon Tum museum. The hotel is right by a busy market with lots of cafes and banh mi places around. Also the room had a fridge and a kettle, a comfy bed and a comfy armchair. The bathroom had everything you need and was very clean.
This is a beautifully designed and crafted property that despite being in the heart of the Kon Tum is peaceful and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the bedroom and bathroom were great size. The staff incredibly friendly and kind. This has been one of our favourite stays in Vietnam.
It's like you're in a cottage in a lush garden that smells beautifully. The beds were comfy and photos were accurate while cottages don't technically have kettles they found one for us. This was an overnight stop on our motorbike but we loved it so much we stayed another night. Around the corner there are local eateries and the food was delicious.
Situated in nice quiet residential area but close to places of interest and short walk to downtown area. Staff very helpful and facilities good.
