KonTum is a relaxing place away from the tourist trail. The people of KonTum are friendly and helpful. Please visit the Wooden Church and VinhSon, the orphanage behind the church. Learn more about the wonderful work at VinhSon. It has been a highlight of my trip to Vietnam.

The city is rather uninteresting, but visiting local...
The city is rather uninteresting, but visiting local communities near Kom Tum makes it a very interesting travel destination. Especially when you go with Mr Huynh from Highlands Ecotravel. He is a very nice person and his life is a big story. His introducing us to local culture and people was perfect, as we had possibility to really meet people in local villages what is not usual for the standard sightseing.
