We stayed in one of the bungalows which the owners built and designed themselves, it was extremely clean and very quiet, the owners also prepared a fantastic meal for us, it was in a very quiet rural village setting with lots of ethnic homestays, it was a very relaxing area, the owners are part of the Dao ethnic group, and we found them very interesting as well as a lovely couple, there son is also on hand to help and speaks very good English, it was a pleasure to meet the family.

El propietari increible! Vam arribar a Ha Giang en un night bus a les 2.30 de la nit i ens estava esperant per poder-nos donar l'habitació. Al matí ens ha aconsellat molt bé sobre la ruta a fer en moto. I la moto de moment funciona molt bé. (Ens queden 2 dies de ruta encara...) Hotel molt aconsellable si vols fer el loop de Ha Giang :)

I had the opportunity to meet and talk with the Dao ethnic people living near the resort. They were incredibly friendly and shared many interesting stories about their lives. This was truly a memorable experience.
Very nice and big room right besides the lake. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant is good.

The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The linen was clean and new. It is an excellent value, and I would certainly go back.
The location is great! The perfect place to chill out. Very clean. I guarantee that you will never find a cheaper place that has that good facilities. I miss the place, I would be back!
The stay at Hoang Su Phi was magical. Hien took extraordinary care of us. We felt like family. The meals were exceptional and she went above and beyond to make sure our large family was cared for. The placement in the hills was magnificent with panoramic views across a stunning vista. Hien arranged a trek with a local guide, Sai, who brought us through the rice terraces and to an incredible home-stay lunch. This is truly a memory of a lifetime.
Shortly after our arrival my husband became very unwell and he collapsed in the room. The staff were incredible. My husband was taken by ambulance to the local hospital and a staff member came with us to interpret for us. The director of the hotel also came to the hospital with food for us. Their kindness was greatly appreciated during a very stressful time.
