The owner, Greg, offers tours and treks around Dien Bien Phu. Since I was on my own he managed to quickly organise a half historical/trekking tour for me. I went away for 2 days and had an unforgettable time there, I really wish I could have stayed longer. There are also free bikes to ride around the city center and the rice fields in the south. I 100% recommend booking their hostel and their tour, it is super authentic and you can really see what DBP has to offer. Definitely one of the highlights of my 3 month trip through Vietnam :)
The highest quality stay (by far!) that I've had after over 2 months of travel in southeast Asia! The owner and staff were wonderfully accommodating immediately upon arrival, allowing me to check in a tad early when I arrived by bicycle. The room I was given was stunning, beautifully decorated and pristinely cleaned. The place feels brand new! The location couldn't be better. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. 10/10 worth a stay if you're in Dien Bien Phu!

best for budget staying. Lot of restaurant and groceries next to hotel,. Few hundred meter walk to A1 hill, dien bien phu museum. near Dan Toc Quan where you can enjoy a lot of Thai specialties. Owner is good and friendly. Support for guests from owner and staff
Room is amazing AND cheap! The hotel is located in the centre of the town, which makes it easy and convenient to visit other destinations in Dien Bien Phu.
Staff were extremely accommodating.
