We stayed in the Papaya unit and would definitely stay here again. The unit was spacious, clean, and had an excellent view. The extra touches, like beach towels and chairs and a cooler, were so unexpected and very much appreciated. Check in and check out were simple too. I would warn future guests to be ready for the steep roads of St John. We had a small SUV and had no problems, but these hills are way past what I'm used to driving. Just take it slow and you'll be fine. There's even parking on site, which is a big deal on St John.

Location gave great views of the bay and some surrounding islands. Nice sunsets and a frequent visitor, green iguana, in the surrounding vegetation. We even named him Iggy, as we saw him every day from the screened in porch.

El Gallows Point Resort ofereix allotjament de luxe amb vistes al port de Cruz Bay i al mar Carib. Excellent location, walking distance for evening restaurants / bars. Could go snokeling from the hotel grounds. There was a good gymnasium at the hotel. There was a shop on the hotel grounds, did coffee etc.. very good.

I liked everything about the hotel. We were right on the beach and had a beautiful view of palm trees and the ocean. We had everything we needed in the room (kitchen, great TV, comfortable furniture), and we could walk into town or to the market to get what we needed. Plus, we could do laundry for free if we needed clean clothes.
