Located in Sanibel, a 1-minute walk from Gulfside Beach, Sunshine Island Inn - Adults only has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a private beach area and barbecue... What a fantastic gem! I almost hesitated to give a review in the event too many people find this lovely spot, but the owners, staff, and spot deserve a beaming review. We loved the layout, care taken with decor and functionality of the unit, and the closeness to a private beach! The pool and deck was just outside the unit which was so nice. They also provide everything you need for the beach and many of the basic tools/toiletries needed in the kitchen and bathroom, which is ideal for anyone flying in like ourselves. We also loved the care taken by everyone there.. we felt very welcome, and that we could contact them anytime if needed. They've been working so hard to restore the inn after the hurricane this October, and we can confidently say they've done a fabulous job. We would love to return one day soon! Definitely an ideal stay for anyone looking for a true island/beach getaway with the comforts of home.

Just a 5-minute walk from Gulfside Beach and 1.2 miles from Sanibel and Captiva Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center, Captain Ed's - Charming Studio at PalmView of Sanibel with Bikes features... Room was very comfortable and had everything needed. Location was close to everything we wanted to see/do/needed. Beach was a short walk. Having laundry facility on site was also very nice. Neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful.

The cottage was clean and spacious and well equipped for our short stay. Staff were immediately responsive and very helpful. The outdoor backyard space was charming. Ample parking and a short walk to the beach

Just a 6-minute walk from Gulfside Beach and 1.1 miles from Sanibel and Captiva Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center, Charming Suite with Balcony and Bikes in Historic Sandpiper Inn features... Apartment is very nice, comfortable and clean. Not much of a view but ok. Bikes are usable and practical for the short ride to the beach but not suitable for longer tour.
