Frizzante città del Midwest, meglio di quanto ci si possa aspettare. La città é creaciuta attorno al campus e non mancano inziative culturali, concerti ed eventi sportivi.
Se si vuole conoscere la vera America, al di là delle città internazionali che sono belle ed entusiasmanti comunque e un po' in tutti gli stati e in tutti i continenti. Cincinnati è profondo Midwest esattamente Americano ed è una buona esperienza per capire l'America come sia effettivamente e non come la si immagina o la si sogna. E' una città particolare. Assolutamente tra le ultime città da vedere purtroppo se si ha una sola chance di venire negli States, ma buona se si vuole appunto avere un assaggio del "made in USA"!!! La cosa molto bella, che a me piace quantomeno, è 1)che è vicina al Kentucky e Newport è una altra cittadella niente male, così in un colpa solo si possono vedere un paio di città non male e 2) che è su un fiume, quindi oltre alla possibilità di avere l'acqua (che è sempre uno sbocco naturalissimo interessante!) ci sono una serie di ponti anche da camminare e una serie di piccole attività da fare sul fiume, come il Ferry Boat d'epoca. D'estate c'è un flea market molto bello. Il cibo è tipicamente americano (o lo si ama o lo si odia e ci si accontenta!!!!). Ci sono moltissimi stadi pre cui, benchè non ci sia l'NBA, godetevi una altrettanto interessante e spumeggiante partita di basket del campionato universitario, i Bearcats sono molto bravi! Anche baseball e football meritano! Per i cultori troverete una bizzarra impronta storia tedesca anche nello stile architettonico, soprattutto delle chiese, dovuto ovviamente alla storia di questa città!
