Ternopil is a rare gem in Ukraine. It's a relatively small city and not very popular among tourists. This gives the town a very private, quiet, and cozy feeling. Despite this, Ternopil has some of the best food, the cheapest prices, the most beautiful atmosphere, and the friendliest people that we've met in our year-long stay in Ukraine. Perhaps most surprising of all is that quite a few people in the service industry in Ternopil speak English well. It's a bit of a conundrum we haven't figured out yet - perhaps its because there's an international economics university in town. It doesn't have enough sights to sustain a week-long visit, but for people who are looking for a quieter, more relaxed, and more charming visit to Ukraine, it's hard to beat Ternopil.
Excellent hotel, easy parking, good staff, room adequate, clean and great shower. It's not central, which for a transit hotel is great, but it is on the main road through to the west, so is very easy to access, and I was very happy with the stay. There is a restaurant on-site, and no noise at all from the road. If you want to visit Ternopil proper, you would need transport, but as a transit hotel, it is perfect. You cannot beat the value.
The hotel's location is its main asset. It overlooks both the lake and the main cathedral, so you get a room with a view whichever side of the building you stay in. Mine was with the amazing lake view! Everything is close, including many excellent restaurants (I was surprised at how delicious everything I ate in Ternopil was).
I was visiting a family in Ternopil. The location was great because the hotel was close to my family's apartment. Also, it was very close to a nice quiet restaurant, and the service was excellent.
Always a great stay, best located hotel in Ternopil, staff always 5 star. Building older style, but views over lake lovely, suites are huge and beds comfortable, pillows new and very welcome.

Room - big, looks very well taken care of, quiet, and clean. It was a suite with four rooms and three beds for five people, and we had lots of space for everything. Beds - comfortable. Bathrooms - there were three of them: a toilet, a shower, and a bath with shower. WiFi - fast and stable. Staff - helpful and friendly. Breakfast - nothing extraordinary but conveniently delivered to the suite.
