I can tell you that it is the best city in Ukraine for me. What I like here is friendly and polite people. No traces of soviet rudeness and decay. The city is very clean and has its positive spirit. Cityscape is well organized, the lake is a beauty, boat trip is recommended. Old houses were restored to give a new good look. Sometimes you feel like in western Europe, but prices are meager even by Ukrainian standards. Plus service and meal quality can beat even top end Kiev restaurants. Can't wait to come back. The most known Stary Mlyn restaurant is a must for one time at least. But I preferred Faine Misto restaurant to eat more than once, that's were well-to-do locals go and prices are lower than Kyiv fastfood. The place is with good atmosphere and layout. Koza bar is also recommended. Come to Ternopil for festivals of Ukrainian music and culture - Festyval "Ї" in May and open air Faine Misto in July.
Ternopil region is reached in historical sights and has plenty to offer. The choice of restaurants is impressive

No Doubt that Ternopil has a very large romantic lake, and lovely big square, but has a lot of disadvantages: The City sleep around 10:00 pm, People are very unfriendly, rare are those who speak English, and too Windy!!!
Ternopil is small but very charming city.If u tired of noisy big cities and want to spend time in calm place with greate nature so u have to visit Ternopil. It is so cheap town with a lot of cafes and restaurants where u can find really tasty food. And the main place that make Ternopil so special - lake in the Centre of the city, with greate beaches and so beautiful quay.
Didn't go into ternopil per se , just drove around a little I liked what I saw and want to go back
Ternopil is 2 hours by train from Lviv or 9 hours by train from Kiev. It is a lovely town with a huge lake for fishing, boating and tourist excursions. Plenty of places to eat and some nightlife to enjoy too. The language can be a struggle, as is the lack of English menus in most places. But these issues can be overcome. I stayed in the summer with day temperatures of 32'c! Aircon is available mainly and the city looks great in the sunshine. Transport is very cheap (both taxis and busses) and you can enjoy dinner for 2 for around £9!
Second stay here, which is a great transit hotel if you are passing through Ternopil. We booked a deluxe room, same as last time, and this room was a bit disappointing. Not sure why, it was a different shape and seemed smaller. That said, it was clean, bed was fine, shower was good, although water not hot. We will stay again, to decide which stay was the norm, but staff were great, it's location for travelling through is great, and the on-site restaurant is also excellent.

So what can I say other than perfect… I had problems with my bank card enroute and not only were they accommodating but met me there with nothing short of exceptional service. And the apartment… well, I’ve stayed 5* star and above but what I wanted was that original charm, original features and the perfect location, and don’t get me started on the temperature or the bed!!! Honestly, I fell in love with Ternopil from this apartment and the host alone
A very good hotel, in a great location. Rooms are good size. We book a Suite here, its a huge room, huge bathroom. Panorama Restaurant is a lovely spot to watcht he sun go down, dont expect great service, but food is good, and the view is the best in Ternopil.
Everything, wonderful location if visiting Ternopil, right on the lake. Staff great as always, hotel has everything you need. If you are visiting Ternopil, and want the full experience of the lake, Central area, this is your best option.
I was visiting a family in Ternopil. The location was great because the hotel was close to my family's apartment. Also, it was very close to a nice quiet restaurant, and the service was excellent.
The location absolutely satisfied our needs, since we mainly traveled outside Ternopil. Nice hotel with spacious private parking. Testy food in the restaurant.

Room - big, looks very well taken care of, quiet, and clean. It was a suite with four rooms and three beds for five people, and we had lots of space for everything. Beds - comfortable. Bathrooms - there were three of them: a toilet, a shower, and a bath with shower. WiFi - fast and stable. Staff - helpful and friendly. Breakfast - nothing extraordinary but conveniently delivered to the suite.
