We had the most pleasant stay at the Escarpment Camp. The whole team is really polite, helpful and had some sweet surprises for us. Besides that everyone speaks a really good English, inviting us to ask a lot about Tanzanian culture and life. Special thanks to Upendo, who took care of us. The room was exceptional equipped and very clean, not to compare with a regular tented camp. We stayed two separate nights - one in the regular room and one in the VIP-Room, which is slightly bigger, with an outside shower and small pool. Since the camp is erected in March 2024, everything was brand new. The food was fantastic, with a great variety, excellent quality and freshly cooked. The dining room offers a stunning view in the nature with zebras coming along at breakfast time. All in all we would definitely book it again and can recommend the camp to everyone looking for a special retreat after a long day of safari.

The animals are right outside your tent window, and you fall asleep to the sounds of wildlife - I've never slept better in my life. The staff is extremely friendly, and there's hot water in the shower, you just need to wait a bit longer for it to heat up. Such a thoughtful touch that they warm the beds with hot water bottles before bedtime. The whole experience was truly magical.
