Beautiful, quiet spot - exactly what we wanted. Great food and lots of it. Super easy to arrange day trips and make plans. Dennis, the owner, made us feel right at home. Actually one of our favorite parts about staying here was dinner and conversations with Dennis and another guest there at the same time - it felt like we were staying with friends:)

The Aiyana Resort and Spa offers accommodation in Verani and features a restaurant. The resort has a year-round outdoor pool and views of the sea, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. This place has been thoughtfully designed by the founder, Ashok who is overlooking the daily operations. Staying here is a fantastic experience in many ways. Ashok and team excel in delighting all guests, big or small.

Staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. We stayed in the premium rooms. Property has recently gone through a renovation and is quite nice and a good value compared to the other two options in the area. They are really trying to create a nice experience for guests. They had scooters for rent to explore the area. Nice beach to walk during low tide. It’s a nice option in an area that has limited options.

We’ve been to the North and South of Pemba and Emerald Bay was our favourite place. The daily boat tours and excursions in this stunning place were fantastic. Luca showed us his favourite hidden beaches and sandbanks, and how to move through the bay according to the tides. These have been the warmest, clearest, and most spectacular beaches we've ever been in. The hotel meals are amazing, including lots of fresh local fruits and italian-swahili inspired dishes at dinner. The owner Luca will take excellent care of you and the staff is also very kind and attentive.

Sukeldumiskeskusega Gecko Nature Lodge Home of Swahili Divers the BEST dive center and Famous Gecko Restaurant asub Makangale küla lähedal Põhja-Pembas. A home away from home. The place is very remote and quiet. For nature lovers, it is a real paradise. Coconut crabs right on the property and many bush babies around at night. Food is excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. We went there to do our scuba certification and Mike the owner is the best teacher you can have. We stayed a week but wish we could have stayed longer.
