I enjoyed some communications with village people, they are very friendly and hospitable. I enjoy sunset time when dhows are going back in reddish shining water reflecting sunset. Night time is very quiet. This is as if home away home. Denis, the owner, is very friendly and helpful, knowing a lot about Pemba and Africa. His family and stuff have full of hospitality. They even prepared a breakfast box for my early departure in the morning. I highly recommend and hope to go back soon!

The food was really excellent! They served beer, too. The staff was unfailingly helpful and cheerful and kind.

We stayed a week but wish we could have stayed longer.

Luca showed us his favourite hidden beaches and sandbanks, and how to move through the bay according to the tides. These have been the warmest, clearest, and most spectacular beaches we've ever been in. The hotel meals are amazing, including lots of fresh local fruits and italian-swahili inspired dishes at dinner. The owner Luca will take excellent care of you and the staff is also very kind and attentive.

Food is excellent, super fresh tuna! The best I have ever tasted!!
