I like the hospitality and welcoming from all staff without exception. They were very friendly, supportive, accurate in delivering their services, smiling all the time and careful to listen and provide their services and help. I like they offer room service in the evening as well , to provide water, coffee… or replace towels if I required . I like also it is very near to Touzer airport, 5 minutes

This traditional Tunisian house is located in Tozeur city centre, on the edge of the desert and a few steps from the salt lake, Chott El Djerid. It offers a hammam and modern rooms. Breakfast Room is clean, welcoming, perfect for a couple. Bed is confortable and bathroom is so suitable.

Dar Hi is a design hotel 1 minutes’ walk from Nefta’s palmgroves in southern Tunisia. A natural hot spring heats the outdoor swimming pool and guests can enjoy a hammam and spa treatments on site. Central location for the movie filming locations that we wanted to see. The staff was very attentive to our needs and the food was excellent.

Beautifully situated, large, slightly dated but well kept hotel. Welcome with a smile by the lovely Basma at reception. Huge room, comfortable bed, powerful shower, silent airco. Lovely little balcony, quiet. Huge and very clean pool, nice and fresh in the desert heat. Friendly staff.

Located close to the desert and halfway between the tourist district and the town centre, Residence El Arich welcomes you in an elegant building and is 3 kilometres from the airport only. When I arrived I received a very nice welcome from the gentleman at reception, who offered me a choice of two rooms to see which I preferred. I was happy with my quiet room looking towards the garden. It was cleaned very well and the bed was comfortable. The fridge worked fine. There were different spaces to sit outside the hotel, including a little garden area at the back. The town is easy walking distance, as is the bus station and louage. The lady offering breakfast was kind and helpful, and I appreciated the simple but filling breakfast. Both the gentlemen on reception were so friendly and gave me advice on how to take the bus to Tunis. Thank you very much to all the team for helping me to have a good stay in Tozeur!

Staying here is like finding an oasis in the middle of the desert.. magical. Everything was great. Beautiful decor with an artistic touch , neat and tidy , ample towels for shower and swimming , personal attention from the staff , comfortable beds , spacious room, plugs at your bed to charge your phone, strong water pressure in the shower and strong air conditioning. It’s quiet and peaceful with zero noise from the bustling town yet you are a 10min walk from the Medina. We arrived on the public holiday for their prophets birthday and were treated to the special dessert that all Tunisians eat on this day. Breakfast was a treat with our table set up outside under the trees and for the coffee lovers , great coffee. I highly recommend staying here.

I stayed for four days as a woman traveling alone. When Taleb picked me up from the airport, I was in the throes of food poisoning. He picked up medicine for me and made me feel like part of the family. He took me around to tour several sites and meet friends of his once I was feeling better. I enjoyed sharing meals (and a carriage ride around the oasis and medina) with other guests, and watching music videos and "The English Patient" with Taleb. After a few days, even Whiskey the feisty cat was warming up to me. Highly recommend!
