This traditional Tunisian house is located in Tozeur city centre, on the edge of the desert and a few steps from the salt lake, Chott El Djerid. It offers a hammam and modern rooms. Dar Saida Beya is very centrally located in Tozeur, and still a safe haven without street noice when inside. Staff are very friendly and will do their utmost to make it a good stay.

Dar Hi is a design hotel 1 minutes’ walk from Nefta’s palmgroves in southern Tunisia. A natural hot spring heats the outdoor swimming pool and guests can enjoy a hammam and spa treatments on site. Dar Hi was a huge surprise. I haven't seen many places like this and the architect of the hotel deserves a big award. Incredible views of the city, gorgeous interior, really excellent cuisine and all this complemented by a really attentive staff. The icing on the cake is the hammam and heated pool. I regret that we could not stay more than one night.

Lep, varen hotel (zunanjost), solidna večerja in zajtrk (čeprav ne ravno za 4****), ampak nama je bilo v redu; zelo prijazno in ustrežljivo osebje. Zajtrk je na voljo že ob 6h zjutraj, kar je super za tiste, ki smo namenjeni zgodaj naprej. Bazen je lep in čist. Midva sva imela lasten avto in nama je bila zato lokacija super. Brez lastnega prevoza pa so na voljo taksiji, z veseljem vam jih pokličejo v recepciji

Maison D’Hote is a 20-minute walk from the city centre of Tozeur and offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a balcony overlooking the Golf de Tozeur. Living in the home of Mr and Mrs Rabah was a treat: We were truly made to feel at home. Although we had our own space and privacy, we benefitted from the warmth and reassurance that if we needed anything, nothing would be too difficult to organise. Mr Rabah kindly organised the excursions we wanted to go on beforehand and provided extensive advice on the route's planning even taking the time to have several long conversations before our arrival. All had been arranged by the time we arrived. The breakfasts were banquets and we had long conversations about all sorts. Although we didn't have dinner, Fatima offered to cook for us. I loved Tozeur, the people, the dry climate and the local community feel. Do not look anywhere further than Dar Fatima!
