Boasting a garden, BAAN APA ERAWAN Resort is situated in Ban Pong Pat in the Kanchanaburi Province region, 34 km from Malika R.E.124 The Siamese Living Heritage Town and 16 km from Erawan Waterfall. EVERYTHING! this place was even better than i imagined! The rooms are huge, and clean with good AC and hot water. The food is good and affordable, plus they bring it directly to your room. The breakfast was basic but free so no complaints, they also brought this to your room. they gave us new towels and water every morning, and offered to clean the room after only 1 night. the receptionist is extremely kind, helpful, and speaks very good english. The location is perfect, you can get dropped off or picked by the bus right in front, and erawan falls is only a 15 min ride. Free access to kayaks on a beautiful lake. The views from the property are amazing. There are many places to relax, or enjoy your meals overlooking the river or mountains. Spent 2 nights here, but definitely could have done more! For the price, its unbeatable!!!!!

Overlooking the famous River Kwai, Pongphen Guesthouse offers rooms and bungalows with a terrace and free Wi-Fi access in the public areas. Surrounded by gardens, it also has an outdoor pool. Best hotel! The staff was so nice, they helped me with directions, helped me book an excursion, called a taxi for me. The hotel is very peaceful and well located, just next to the river. The room has a TV, mini fridge, AC and is quite spacious. The swimming pool is perfect for the hot weather! There are many food options at the restaurant (Thai and non-Thai). I had a great stay and would come back without hesitation.
