The location is unbeatable! You can just sit in a deck chair all day watching the animals come to the watering hole or (passive ones) wander around the accommodation area. Rhinos, a family of giraffes, a giant lizard (I’m guessing), an elephant, impala, monkey, frog… on safari we saw lions and 4 of the big 5, vultures, even 3 baby warthogs! It was incredible and filled my cup. (I’ve been on safaris before but this one is more relaxing as you also get the animals coming to you)

Nestled in the Lubombo Mountains, Mabuda Guest Farm has been described as “the place of dreams”. This working farm offers a range of self-catering, country style accommodation. I had a warm welcome from the security guy, he was a such a gentleman. The lady who helped me with setting in was awesome and I had an absolute great stay.
