I am very noise-sensitive and this is the first time I experience such quiet environment in room and the surroundings. Waking up at the waterfront is magical. Dating back to 1881, this family-owned hotel is located in central Västervik, right next to Västervik Train Station. It offers individually decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi access and cable TV. The bed was so comfortable, it was like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast was very good, and our hosts were very friendly.

This intimate countryside hotel garni is located in the middle of Öland island, a 20-minute drive from Borgholm. It offers a large garden and a free outdoor pool. Free Wi-Fi is available. Good breakfast with availability of glutenfree options. Hotel was situated in a peaceful area with plenty of parking spaces. Rooms were a bit old school but comfortable and inviting. Even some nice drinks, snacks to make ones stay better. There is also an outdoor kitchen with a stove and a microwave alongwith plenty of cutlery, utensils that one can use to cook/warm ones own food. A back garden with a pool and a mini pond with lots of fishes in it. One can rest there and relax if one wants to chill at the hotel and not go around on the island. Two lovely cats who usually say hello in the morning on the way to the breakfast area. Good value for money hotel.
