A dream of a place to stay... Loved it here! The host is so warm and welcoming and helpful, and the place is just amazing. The hotel is beautifully decorated and adorned with so much character and charm. Our room was beautiful, newly decorated, comfortable and perfectly clean. Opted for the lake view option in booking and having the balcony was wonderful watching the sun go down over the lake. And the lake, it is just lovely. Sat and enjoyed it for hours and loved a morning swim. Highly highly recommended place to stay. I would live here if I could...

This hotel is next to the Åmålsån River and green space in central Åmål, only 300 metres from Lake Vänern. It offers free WiFi internet access in all guest rooms. This was the absolute cutest hotel we’ve stayed in! A beautiful small town and historic hotel. Room is spacious, bed is comfy, staff are friendly, and breakfast is delicious! It gets hot at night but you can leave the window open without noise. Free parking as well.

Beautiful little cottage which has space for even 4 people. We even had a little corner to sit with 2 comfy chairs and a sofa. We had a stunning view over the canal and the lake. Unfortunately we just booked 2 nights... we could have stayed longer. :) Please be aware that you have to bring own bedlinen or you rent it there. The price is reasonable. As well as you clean yourself or you just pay a little fee. But all fine. Thanks once again. We will highly recommend Visitor Stugby and Dalsland. Did you know that alone in Dalsland they have over 2000 lakes.....unbelievable but true.
