A big thank you to the staff of the hotel - they made our stay really special, it felt like home. Even upon arriving very late, they reopened the kitchen just for us - you rarely find that! The breakfast was very good and the view from the room and the restaurant to the lake is beautiful. You can even rent e-bikes directly with the hotel. We will return for sure! It was our best stay in Sweden!

It is one of the best places to stay in Dalsland or, more exactly, in Bengtsfors! Great personnel and great location! The breakfast was very fresh and tasty also! Located along the Dalsland Canal, this property is less than 5 minutes’ walk from the Håverud Aqueduct. It features an on-site café and shared TV lounge. Beautiful little cottage which has space for even 4 people. We even had a little corner to sit with 2 comfy chairs and a sofa. We had a stunning view over the canal and the lake. Unfortunately we just booked 2 nights... we could have stayed longer. :) Please be aware that you have to bring own bedlinen or you rent it there. The price is reasonable. As well as you clean yourself or you just pay a little fee. But all fine. Thanks once again. We will highly recommend Visitor Stugby and Dalsland. Did you know that alone in Dalsland they have over 2000 lakes.....unbelievable but true.
