In this hotel the exceptional and what exceeded my expectations was the rich breakfast. I'm vegan and was very positively surprised from the vegan options for the breakfast. Also the rest of the breakfast buffet was big, with a variaty of options, but for me most important was the vegan menu. Usually I eat fruits for breakfast in the hotels, because there are not vegan options. The receptionist welcomed us with fresh hot cookies, this was also a nice surprise. The hotel is very clean, new, modern style.

Hotel Na Półboru is located in a quiet and picturesque area, between Sieradz and Zduńska Wola and just a 2-minute drive from the S8 road. Check-in at 1am was super fast - all documents had been prepared in advance. Room was super clean. The hotel is close to the highway, but super quiet. Breakfast was excellent, great choice and very nicely presented. No plastic wrappings, neither at the buffet, nor in the room: proper porcelain cups and glasses- really enjoyable and sustainable. The hotel is super clean everything well maintained and has a huge beautiful garden, playground, basketball court and the parking was super safe, we left some of our luggage in the car. Staff was very friendly and supportive! Perfect place for a stay over, we will come again.

Lodz is a place where I occasionally have to go and do Business. It is not a Tourist Destination. The People are lovely considering their circumstances of living in a dilapidated and falling down City. Lodz is probably the cheapest big city in Poland if one is looking for economic services. Corruption is present at the Train and bus stations, you will be overcharged for a ticket because you are a foreigner. If you have to go to Lodz for any reason, stay in a hostel or Hotel on the main street, and conduct your Business there as well. Then you will have a pleasant stay.
If you want to discover world war two, ( im a history buff) this is the city for you, Musuems, including Radegast station is steeped in history, Piotrkowska street is Amazing too, full of shops, Restaurants and hotels, our favourite place to eat was Called ANDORS RESTAURANT, in Piotrkowsa street good food,great staff, and for what you get as a main course like Skewers, chicken dishes, pizza, etc, is pretty cheap. I would recommend ANDORS to everyone.Getting around Lodz is very easy also, there are taxis everywhere, the taxis we used, their number was 0800 400 400 written on the side of their taxis, most of their drivers spoke good English.Manufaktura is also an Awesome experience as well, huge shopping complex and much much more.
The main attractions are and have been the renovated Piotrkowska, Manufaktura shopping center. Now, there is also very elegant and modern main railway station Lodz Fabryczna.
Some very lovely architecture ( the bus terminus is wonderful). fares to and from the airport are extremely reasonable and the cabbies are very helpful. If you want to take a bus, tram or train...all are very clean, fares are incredible ( and they all accept credit cards!). Lots of building work going on, so Lodz is on the up and up!
The pedestrianised Piortkowska was stunning as was the redevelopment of the old factories. I think that Lodz is a hidden gem which definitely deserves more publicity.
This is by far the most run-down and neglected city I have seen in Poland and maybe in all of Europe. So many buildings in the central area in a pathetic state or simple wasteland, it reminded me of East Berlin in 1990. The main street Piotrowska is alright, but nothing worth a trip either, any small market town might have a pedestrianised street like that. The most outstanding things to see are the new central tram interchange with its huge colourful canopy spanning four tracks, and, of course, the Manufactura, a textile factory converted into a shopping and leisure area. Last December they also opened a shiny new underground railway station, but I have never seen such a deserted place in a city with almost 750,000 inhabitants. Let's give Lodz another 10 years to see if they catch up a bit with other large Polish cities, a long way to go though.
The new train 🚄 station Lodz Fabryczna about five minutes walk 🚶 from the hotel 🏨 is fantastic it's very spacious and you can catch trains to Warsaw and other parts of Poland Lodz as a place is very nice with a great transport infrastructure and lots of shops and bars you'll enjoy it here
Lodz is the most interesting cities, which were converted from grey, dull, ordinary industrial cities into the bright postmodernate one with big trading wholesale stores, which are complet towns inthe city with pown infrastructe including theatres and cinemas, post & cafes, restaurants & entertainments. Worth of visiting Also I've attended a pair of theatres with christmass & Eve programms. Was wonderful returning back to hotel strolling thrugh light landing snowf;lakes via brightly lenighted streets & squares.. But some other streets out of center are the objects of refurbishment and care. Find pleasures in everything.....
Have been in lodz several times. Lime to walk along the main stret, sitting some pub and looking to the beatiful houses. Full of entertainments for the night. Not so much beatiful as warsaw but you can spend two days for a short break.
Like every city in the world, Lodz have beautiful parts and the one which are not so good for turistic visit. There is a longest street in Lodz, Piotrkowska street, where you can find a lot of things to do: clubs, bars, restaurants etc. Also, i really like that you can find a lot of street art in city. In my opinion there are many polish cities which looks better than Lodz. City infrastructure is not so good, there are a lot of buildings which are old and not maintained well.. But anyway i think that we should give a chance to every city and explore it, there is always something worth of seeing :)

First of all the host was the best. She helped us with the parking, recommendations and with an early and smooth check in. The apartment was very clean, actually it was the best apartment we had during our stay in Poland. You have a small balcony, necessary ammenities and the location is right in the center (not 10 minutes away or something like this, you literary get out of the block and you are on the main city center street). All in all our experience in Lodz was enhanced by the accommodation and the great host. PS : it is also pet friendly
The room was bigger than expected and the breakfast had a great selection. Hotel was quiet and in excellent location. The reception staff were happy to store my luggage for a few hours too which was very helpful. It is a modern and very comfortable hotel in the heart of Lodz - one I will be returning to as soon as I have my flights booked to Lodz again. The facilities looked great too, though I had no time to use the sauna or gym. Will most certainly use them the next time I visit.
This location is best when visiting Lodz. Apartment is cozy, has all you need for short stay. There's even a coffe mashine. Just missing some kitchen towel and sofa bed is not he most comfortable, but for kids of one adult and child - ok. But overall - amazing space. Even after chech out you do not need to rturn key after you leave the parking. you can open parking by button. Simple details, but makes your stay comfy.
We wanted a room with a view and we were not disappointed - glass wall was overlooking beautiful palace and renovated factory buildings, turned into luxury hotel. Location is perfect to explore Lodz, really couldn't be better. Hotel is brand new, very comfy, with all the amenities and very helpful staff. Breakfast was also a treat, plenty of options and also choice a la carte if you don't find buffet good enough.

The place is just 10 minutes away from łódź fabryczna from where is very easy to catch a bus or train to other parts of Poland. Also, the apartment is 20 minutes (walking) away from manufaktura and just 5 minutes away from piotrkowska. Very well located. Communication with the hosts was always clear and swift. They let us know about problems in advance and when we had a concern they responded quickly.

A great sized apartment in the heart of Lodz. Everything you need is within a short walk of the apartment as it's super close to Piotrkowska Street. Despite this the apartment is lovely and quiet as it faces a courtyard. Checking in & out was a breeze and the host was able to accommodate a late check with no issues. The apartment itself was clean with everything you need for a short stay.

Very good location, right behind the Galeria Łódzka, with a tram and bus station really close. Walking distance to Piotrkowska street, Żabka literally outside of the front door. Great balcony, fully equipped kitchen, nice big shower. We appreciate that the apartment has a working dishwasher and a laundry machine.

It was a great stay. Apartment located close enough to walk from Łódź Fabryczna (main train station) and 5 minutes to Piotrowska street. The Wschodnia street was recently renovated and looks very lovely. The owner was very responsive and ready to help. We really enjoyed having mansard window.

Modern building with off-street parking not too far from the centre of Lodz (Piotrkowska Street). Polite and helpful concierge who helped us with our bags. Some staff speak English but not all. Clean apartment with comfortable bed. No noise from street, at least not where we were.
Clean and smell good,and the location is close to the club Wytwórnia in Łódź. And there is a Żabka next to the hotel. I would recommend upgrading to a king bed room for men to stay. I would definitely come back when Kwiat Jabłoni concert is going to be in the club Wytwórnia.

The apartment is located in a very quiet area with a walking distance to Lodz Fabryczna train station and local groceries. It's very well equipped with everything you need for short and long term stay. The bed is very comfortable and there's a nice big bathroom.

Great location, and very easy to check-in at the apartment! Many shops around and within walking distance to the main and most busy street of Lodz. Apartment is well equipped, with a washing machine in the bathroom too and a hanger in the closet.
The apartment is at the beautiful center of the Lodz city. It's very warm and incredibly clean. The bedroom is big enough and mattress on the bed is comfortable and excellent. The kitchen equipment was great.
The hotel is a perfect choice for a weekend break. Located in the walking distance from main streets of Lodz provides excellent starting point to explore the area. Our room was good and bathtub made it special.
