Facing the beachfront, Lanas Beach Resort Carabao Island offers 3-star accommodation in San Jose and has a garden, shared lounge and terrace. Amazing resort! Carabao is a hidden gem with almost no tourism (Which is crazy to think about as its only a few kilometres away from boracay which is the biggest tourist hotspot of the phillipines) and this resort is the perfect place to stay, especially if you are a backpacker as they offer bunk beds. The restaurant is really nice, they have a good selection of both local and western dishes, service can be a bit slow at times but if you are low on time they'll be quick! The owners are super friendly and gave us information and many tips on what to do on the island. The place itself is really nice, beds are good, they have a pool table and a nice chill out zone/sunning area. The sunset is amazing, this place really does feel like paradise! I really enjoyed my stay at Lanas beach resort and I will definitely return to this wonderful island!

We came to Romblon because of its reputation as an excellent place for macro and super-macro diving. We chose the Sunset Cove Resort, and we were delighted by the professional dive center located at the resort. On top of that, their chef is a culinary genius, the swimming pool is lovely and cleaned daily, and the rooms are spacious with great design and are kept tidy and clean. This is a very small resort that really knows how to treat its guests - it’s very much a hidden gem!

My opinion is that it is really the best hotel on the island Carabao. It is located just on the beach. It looks like a big villa. The owner of this house is David, who always is very funny and makes a lot of jokes, who can help, recommend or organize your trip around all island. All rooms there are small but nice and comfortable. The personal is very modest, quite and nice. The hotel has a big lawn with an exit to the beach, two small pavilions with tables and chairs, 2 sofa - beds where personal can put a linen, also it has a small bar where you can order some drinks or fruits like an appetize. The sea is clean and it has a big coral where you can swim with masks and flippers. Also the hotel can give you swimming board or acvashoes for free. I really recommend you this hotel if you want to relax and see all beauties of the Carabao. It is very atmosphere place!
