Featuring a shared lounge and a terrace, Strandhaus Condotel is set in Moalboal, 200 metres from Panagsama Beach and 600 metres from Basdiot Beach. I was traveling solo mid October, just before the high season and found this hotel super cheap for what you get. You’re literally one minute away from the snorkeling point where you can see sardines and turtles. Location is great, everything you need is following the path to the right from the hotel, you will pass restaurants, bars and everything in between. The staff are amazing, as a solo traveler is nice to know that your first friends are the staff. They are lovely people and super helpful. The view is great and the room is comfy and well equipped. The breakfast is simple but made with love, I enjoyed as much as the view almost every morning.

There are alot of misleading accommodation options in the Philippines. Diane's exceeded my expectations which was very welcome after walking out of a very disappointing place. Very clean, well maintained, spacious rooms. Food and drink options within and a short walk away. The gym is well equipped and the pool is very refreshing with great views of the harbor

Set in Moalboal, The Shuim Dive Resort Moalboal offers beachfront accommodation a few steps from Basdiot Beach and offers various facilities, such as a garden, a private beach area and a terrace. In one line - we thought the reviews were too good to be true, but all they are all true. One of the best places we have ever stayed at and we can't wait to be back! We had an amazing time at Shuim Dive Resort. The owners and their staff are friendly and kind, and they made us feel like guests in their homes. They themselves have an amazing life story and they would gladly share that with you over dinner. We went swimming and snorkelling everyday (they provide all the equipment you'd need, for free) and spent a good amount of time just hanging out in the garden, having a beer, watching the ocean. The walk to the main street is super easy so we tried out a handful of restaurants, yet it is far enough that we sleep wonderfully every night in peace and quiet. And if you need tours or bikes, there is a provider right at the corner of the street. They had the most adorable dog and cats, and the owners are always around to make sure you have everything you need. We were even sad to leave at the end :(
