Being a couple, we found this resort fantastic! We stayed 4 nights here and used it as a base to explore Panglao and Bohol. From the moment of check-in, to the moment of check-out, everything was great. Even before we arrived, the communication from Mayana was fantastic over the booking app, and they were very responsive to all queries we had. We used the air conditioned van option to get to the resort from the Tagbilaran Port (30 mins drive), and were greeted with a welcome drink and room briefing. We ate in the restaurant three of the nights, as it was very handy after coming in late and having driven a lot on the bike. Each night the food was good. The Osterich dishes are unusual, and I enjoyed the burger Option. My girlfriend is vegetarian, so we really appreciated that the chef was able to make her a veggie curry one of the nights. The breakfast was great each morning. You get a choice between an American breakfast, pancakes, omelette, Filipino breakfast. The staff were really accommodating in trying their best to get you any specific options/extras that weren’t on the menu. For instance, they made poached eggs for me one morning, though not on the menu 😊 We rented a good scooter from here also and had a great time! I read the reviews mentioning the pool being ‘murky’ or ‘unclean’, but honestly we thought the pool was fab! - not only was it a nice size nd design, but it was the first pool in the Philippines we have had that has part just 5ft deep, but the deep part is actually deep and over your head at 7ft. We loved that, so it caters for every type of guest. The rooms are modern and spacious, as are the bathrooms. The bed is really comfy which is really important! The A/C is great and the rooms have tinted glass for privacy which was a nice touch. The safe is big enough to put a laptop in when you are out and about, and the balcony and little table and chairs on it are great with a lovely view over the pool. The staff are all so nice.

Bella Napoli Resort & Resto está en Panglao, a 2,7 km de Libaong White Beach, y dispone de alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y restaurante. El Selectum Mangrove Resort se encuentra en Panglao, a 800 metros de la playa de Danao, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, aparcamiento privado gratuito, jardín y terraza. Everything! Nice pool and garden, really cousy and clean room, very good food in restoran, host was really polite and friendly, she organized all trips for us and we had best time :)

Hotel Renate, que tiene jardín, terraza, bar y wifi gratis, está en Panglao, a 8 min a pie de Alona Beach y a 1,2 km de Playa Danao. Everything! Owner and staff are so friendly. Garden area is beautiful. Rooms are clean and modern with great AC and wifi. We loved the balcony - even has a fan! Location is perfect - quiet but can walk to the beach/restaurants in 10 minutes. They arranged our scooter and trike back to the port for us. Really recommend staying here!

Great snorkeling location. Great service and staff. Rooms are very large and well equipped. Two choice of pillows. Nice Tv. Food was excellent. Best stay in the Philippines thus far. Quiet and peaceful.

This resort was amazing and perfect for our family with two small children. Personally, my experience of this place was of a five-star resort because of the amenities, the views, the room and the customer service. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The pool was so great that we did not spend much time at the beach despite the beach being only a 1 minute walk from the resort. The pool area also had a kids section and a spa. Some features worth mentioning are: - we were in room 304 which had a perfect view of the pool and beach. - thick double glazed windows meant that we couldn't hear much of the pool noise. - A great breakfast buffet spread. Offerings of traditional filipino dishes and non-filipino dishes - Great resort restauarant. The menu identified which meals had gluten, meat, etc. - a nearby quiet beach which is much less crowded than Alona beach. - daily room clean available. - in house laundry available, but pricey. There is a local laundry near the 7eleven which is so much cheaper, and they provide same day service. - airport pickup and drop off available for a fee. - life guards at the pool. - food and drinks service available at the pool. - complimentary pool towels available. - Queen beds are super comfortable. - there are a handful of near by restaurants within the Moadto complex. - nearby 7eleven to get bottled water chocolates, etc. - ATM available. - the fireworks during NYE was very impressive

Alona Austria Resort, que cuenta con terraza, ofrece habitaciones en Panglao, a 9 min a pie de Alona Beach y a 2,1 km de Playa Danao. Sorry to wait so long to comment after the trip, the stay was an unexpectedly perfect experience. First of all, in terms of price, it is very cost-effective, cheap but safe and comfortable and has a certain degree of privacy. In terms of facilities, the equipment is very complete, even a kitchen, refrigerator, microwave oven. The facilities in the room are a little simple, but very clean, you can see the master's careful preparation. In terms of scenery, I really like the garden and the pool, the night swimming experience is good, go out in the morning and see the garden scenery makes people feel good, and it is really comfortable to sit in the garden and enjoy the beautiful scenery in the rain after playing. Most importantly, the boss and staff were very friendly and provided excellent service, helping us contact the driver and tour guide, providing a shower break after we came back from the beach, and helping us when we needed hot water... I really appreciate the people here helping us with our journey. We only have two girls, but it gives us warmth and security.
