Amazing place to stay. Great and tasty breakfasts, beautiful area, friendly staff. We totally recommend staying there
Hotel in Bora Bora
Located in Bora Bora and with Mount Otemanu reachable within 2.5 miles, BORA BORA HOLIDAY'S LODGE provides an outdoor swimming pool, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a terrace. We had an amazing stay there, the owner and all the staff were super kind and available all the time. The lodge is really cozy, the room has everything we need, and choosing between having breakfast in the room or in front of the pool was absolutely nice. The breakfast itself was delicious! How they treat you and the constant good mood and smiles make the difference. They helped us with external problems. As I said, always available. Even though we did not request a transfer from the port to the lodge and they picked us up anyways, they organized everything for us to go to the next step of our trip and so on. We had an amazing journey, loved everything about the lodge, and are absolutely grateful to them! We'll for sure go back there in the future.
Hotel in Matira Beach, Bora Bora
Set alongside Matira Beach, Village Temanuata offers traditional Polynesian-style bungalows offering direct beach access. Guests can relax on the sun loungers or indulge in a massage. I booked 4 nights but once I'd decided to take one of the beach-facing bungalows I ended up staying 11. The accommodation has a scruffy, rustic charm I liked. It's well equipped with cooking equipment and is walking distance to 2 supermarkets and several cafes/restaurants. The beach view is amazing and the sea perfect for swimming. The staff were all friendly and very helpful.
Hotel in Bora Bora
Westin Bora Bora Resort & Spa sits at the base of Mount Otemanu, placing you in the midst of paradise. We were at several resorts and this location sits on probably the best spot opposite the mountain. It’s modern, smart designed, with clean and light bungalows, ours with plungepool. The staff, both young French and Tahitian were enthousiastic, interested and competent. The layout of the resort is efficient and makes best use of the view. Some of the cocktails of their own design were delicious and the food allowed for both fine dining or a cheeseburger. Frankly, it was like one imagines paradise could be. It’s a long way from Amsterdam or Paris, but worth the miles. The weather this November was very sunny.
Bora Bora
Located in Bora Bora and with Mount Otemanu reachable within 8.1 miles, ALAROOTS BORA BORA CAMP provides a private beach area, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a shared lounge. This place is great, and Tapu is a fantastic host! It's important to know that this place will not be for everyone! Your vibe and your willingness to interact and share experiences with others is make or break, so if that's not for you, then neither is A La Roots! Be chill, be cool, don't worry, and bring plenty of cold beer!
Bora Bora
1.2 miles from Mount Otemanu in Bora Bora, Tiki House offers accommodations with access to wellness packages, beauty services, and open-air bath. Best place to be in contact with the local culture. Fred is a great host, willing to help you in any way he can. Meals were so delicious, we loved our stay!
Bora Bora
Overlooking the magnificent turquoise waters of a private beach, the Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora features luxurious over-water bungalows and beachfront villas with views of Mount Otemanu. The view from the overwater bungalow is great. We were welcome by a turtle swimming by. The facilities are enough to survive within the resort itself without going outside. The santury is superb for leisure snorkling and swimming. We felt welcome by the staff on the beach and restaurants.
Bora Bora
On Motu Piti Aau and featuring an exclusive private beach, this 5-star resort and day spa offers private villas located over the water. Each has a large shaded terrace with stunning views of Bora... Amazing stay. Location is perfect. View is so so beautiful. Definitely worth it!
Matira Beach, Bora Bora
Featuring a private white sand beach which is exclusive to guests, this luxury resort offers beachfront accommodations on Matira Point. Guests can stay in unique bungalows positioned over the water. Loved it here! Our first time at Bora Bora, loved the island and this hotel
Bora Bora
Exclusively located in a private cove on Motu To’opua, Conrad Bora Bora Nui enjoys vast blue ocean views and a white sand beach. The resort is so gorgeous, very lush and well maintained. Food was great across all restaurants on site. Staff are all wonderful, we felt welcome from the second they met us at the airport till the second they dropped us back there. Unlike some other five star resorts, here everyone greets you with a smile and it always felt so genuine. Employees radiated happiness at all times which created such a warm feeling being there. Special thanks to Adrijan Rajkovic who went above and beyond to make our stay special and memorable! Everything went so smooth and we feel so happy, recharged and already thinking of a possibility to come back! It’s was truly a 5 star stay with SO much personalization (I mean we had all the help in our native language which is pretty fascinating to receive anywhere, let alone an island in the middle of nowhere in the Pacific). For anyone not sure which resort to choose on Bora Bora, choose Conrad - you’ll be amazed how far five star can go!

Bora Bora is a fantastic destination for honeymooners, romantic couples, or anniversary celebrations. It might be challenging for families with young kids because once it gets dark out, there's not too much at the resorts to entertain them. But there's definitely enough beauty and relaxation for those seeking paradise.
Stunning part of the world - snorkelling is amazing - book a tour with Reef Discovery. Ate at Villa Mahana, St James and Bora Bora Yacht Club - if we went again would definitely go back to the latter two but not Villa Mahana - it was our least favourite meal of the trip and cost three times the amount of the other two. Matira Beach Restaurant is also brilliant. All these places pick you up and return you for free. Excellent massage at Thallasso Resort
If you are looking for a place to go and relax, Bora Bora is the place. I'm a person where it's hard to turn off thinking about work and it was like my mind had been wiped clean. When you are looking out at the clear blue water and the breeze is blowing on your face, it's hard to think about anything. We spent 4 days on the main Island at Rohotu Fare and 4 days in an overwater bungalow at Pearl Beach. It was the perfect way to do it as we got to explore the main island first and then when we got to the overwater bungalows we didn't feel bad about just vegging out. We were on a budget so staying in a hillside bungalow in town was cheaper and the place we stayed had a kitchen so we were able to cook our own meals. This proved to be a good thing not only for our budget but also because we are vegetarians and Bora Bora didn't have the best food options for us. Bora Bora Pearl Beach was also a lot less expensive than a lot of the other resorts with overwater bungalows. We were told it's one of the only Polynesian owned resorts. While the food is on the expensive side. Dinners are around $35-40. The breakfast buffet was included in our room, otherwise it would have been $40 per person. The drinks were surprisingly cheap. We were expecting them to be much more expensive from what we had read. Beers were $5 and specialty cocktails were $14 and $11 on happy hour. An amazing trip. It's a destination that is on everyone's bucket list for a reason.
Bora Bora deserves its reputation as a beautiful island with crystal clear blue and turquoise water. The grilled mahi-mahi at Bloody Mary was delicious even in a lunch sandwich rather than the dinner plate. The half tour included swimming with black fin sharks and sting rays, snorkeling in a coral garden and a trip to an island to enjoy fresh fruit and a glorious panorama view (required walking up many steps). We discovered $5 NZ shuttle vans that take you to Bloody Mary restaurant and back to the center of town which was about a 20 minute walk to our place.
Honestly if you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway that's not crowded like Hawaii, Bora Bora is your answer. There isn't much at all when it comes to shopping, bars etc...but the ocean, reef, activities, lodging, food and overall experience will leave you wondering why you missed those other things. Highly recommended trip to anyone looking for an exotic island getaway looking for adventure, romance, and super hospitable hosts. The Four Seasons is the BEST.
We loved staying at the Four Seasons. It seemed like our own little private island of paradise. The locals spoke English well and were extremely friendly. The lagoon of course was stunning and warm! Weather was perfect, not too humid. We traveled the entire island of Bora Bora in one hour by Buggy. Best food to eat on island is Snack Matira (Tuna Burger and Egg Burger). Grab baguettes from the market across from the Mobil Gas Station for 43 XPF!! Sharks and Sting Ray Tour was AMAAAAAAZZZING. Favorite spot was waking up to the mountain view from our bungalow.
I was in Bora Bora in 2000 on a cruise ship. The economy seemed to be much better then than now. The island was not as nice as I recall it. Shopping was very limited. If you din't need pearls or a pareo there wasn't much to buy. The market by the marina was only about 1/4 occupied and all of the vendors were selling the same things. The lagoon is definitely what they have to offer.
The island is picture perfect. The mountains, the turquoise water, the resorts, the locals...it’s all wonderful! Bora Bora is for those looking to escape to a dream. If you want to relax, hike, be in nature and sit on a beach all day; this is the place. It is laid back and each resort is set up to have all you need there. It is a luxury destination, and honestly the most beautiful place in the world.
Beautiful island, would have loved to explore the outlying islands. The snorkel tours were great and we had lots of fun seeing and swimming with manta rays, lemon sharks and colorful reef fish. Getting around Bora Bora is easy, the hotels arrange the transportation and there is only one road and no traffic. Would comeback in a heartbeat.
Simply gorgeous. When you arrive in Bora Bora you are met by your resort with a fresh flower lei and than taken by boat to your resort. The bungalows over the water are stunning and the staff is super friendly. We went swimming with Sharks and made sure to stop at Bloody Mary’s for a couple Tropical drinks 🍹 and a little shopping for Tahitian pearls. True paradise 🏝
Bora Bora
Excellent Host Gerard and his lovely assistant, one of the most accessible properties in Bora Bora. They provide an excellent pick up service for free that makes a big difference, As many hotels in Bora Bora charge expensive fee to collect you or take you to the Airport Ferry. Spent 2 further nights at the accommodation by the lagoon which was much more spacious and had better furnishings and facilities. That property was Par excellence. The first night I spent at the main accommodation was a little small but the Lagoon Lodge is excellent
Bora Bora
The position is perfect. I give a 10 for Hina as person, she helped me with scooter, had a private small room and fan. Great welcome.1 st night she cooked sword fish that I enjoyed. Is not a hotel, is a private house as local, so don't come with fancy expectations. For the price paid in Bora Bora, you can't choose much. I've went to Matira area where I had a 2 Nd backup next day only to see the area to compare my selection.Nothing to do, Hina is the best on booking. Shops 100 meters
Bora Bora
The apartment is stunning. Beautifully appointed, tastefully furnished with a light airy feel, it is clear the owners have carefully considered what guests may need. The size of the apartment is great, feels spacious and the deck has lots of room to lounge or eat outside. It is aptly named The View because the view is amazing. Clear view of the Bora Bora waters, fabulous sunsets. We enjoyed sundowners while watching the boats drift by. Could definitely have stayed longer.
Bora Bora
We stayed at an over-the-water bungalow. The interior actually exceeded our expectations. Contemporary newly remodeled bungalow with a touch of Polynesian ornament. Turquois water over white sand is a beauty and its pleasing to get into the water right from bungalow. The beach is beautiful, like on pictures of Bora Bora, and swimming pool is stylish, too. The food is decent (except pretentious romantic restaurant where nothing meets their said "high" standards).
Bora Bora
Great 4 nights at Tike House. The bungalow is well thought and has everything you need to make your stay extremely comfortable. Fred is very kind and knowledgeable of the island. He will ensure you make the most of your time at Bora Bora! Breakfast are the best we had in our French Polynesia trip, highly recommend booking for dinner too, Fred is a great cook! Rent a car or scooter to discover the island! 100% recommend!
Bora Bora
We had a great stay in Bora Bora. The apartment had a great feel and lovely outlook. We really enjoyed being able to cook our own meals and dining on the balcony. Although the apartment is 20 mins by scooter from town, we did not find it to be a hassle. The apartment is well setup with everything you need. Really appreciated the pick up from the ferry/airport.

My honeymoon at the Four Seasons Hotel in Bora Bora was nothing short of paradise on earth. The location and views were breathtaking, making every moment truly magical. The staff went above and beyond, providing exceptional service and making us feel incredibly special. We’re already planning our return trip because this experience was simply unforgettable.
Absolutely splendid hotel in the magnific Bora Bora, French Polynesia. Everything was simply amazing. Great staff having permanently the smile on their faces, beautiful swimming pool, stunning private beach, yummy breakfast. Thank you very much for a great and relaxing stay!
When I arrived, I had just taken three flights from America to Bora Bora. From the moment I arrived at the Raihei hostel, I was taken care of, made to feel comfortable, great communication and support, a lovely family.
fantastic stay here, it elevated my overall impression and experience of Bora Bora. I love the spa. excellent massage and sea water treatment facilities. my stay in the hotel was one of a kind!
Bora Bora
The apartment is large and has everything you could need - a washine machine was a big plus! It was very clean and private, we felt very safe. A great place to stay in a busy part of Bora Bora.
Good location in Bora Bora with nice pool area. The breakfast is delicious and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. The hotel and the pool area are very well maintained and very clean.
Bora Bora
Mediterranean stye villa filled with art, beautiful place to relax on the main island Bora Bora. Laura was a fantastic host. Great view, each room/apartment has its own balcony.
Bora Bora
Good location Very spacious with room for up to 5 people Fairly priced compared to other hotels in Bora Bora Own fully equipped kitchen Could easily have spent more time here!
Bora Bora
Beautiful bungalow and well kept. The walk to get to it is also sublime. A small piece of paradise and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bora Bora.
Bora Bora
Lovely modern apartment, extremely clean and Sophia the owner was very helpful for information about bora bora. We were comfortable and happy there.
Bora Bora
We loved the location ( most beautiful island in Bora Bora) and the boats tour with Ken was amazing.
