Panamas folk är kanske inte de mest hjälpsamma och vissa vet inte alls vad service-mind är. Casco Viejo är en charmig del av Panama, långt bort från skyskraporna och har jättebra restauranger. Jag tycker personligen att skyskraporna är ganska coola. Men ett par-tre dagar räcker för Panama City sen bör man se det riktiga Panama med all sin vackra natur och trevligare folk.
Man bör besöka Panama kanal museet, gamla staden och området nära presidentens bostad. Man bör också ta sig runt Panama för naturen är väldigt vacker. Ön Taboga är fin dagtid och ligger bara 30 minuter ifrån Panama city, man kan ta båt dit.
Favoritstället var Casco Viejo! Mysigt, lugnt, fint, lokalt men ändå turistit. Fiskmarknaden var mysig att äta på, mycket folk, musik och härlig stämning! En hel del stora kontraster i Panama City! Men vi hade en otroligt bra vecka där!
Det är trevligt och ganska lätt att ta sig runt i Panama, särskilt om man kan spanska. folk är vänliga.

Det finns inte så mycket mer att göra i panama city mer än shopping, besök istället alla öar såsom i san Blas eller bocas Del toro.

För alla tågfantaster är det klassiska tåget till Colón ett måste! Det kostar 25 dollar enkel resa och avgår mån-fre 07:15 från stationen i Corozal. Biljetter köps på plats innan avgång. Andra sevärdheter är Casco Viejo (gamla stan), ruinerna i Panama Viejo och BioMuseo.
Åk till Panama Canal, det är roligt och lärorikt. Ta en promenad längs cinta costera, fint på både dag och natt!
Poolområdet med solstolar. Frukostbuffén var mycket god, Fanns mycket frukt upp till 7 olika. Kvällsbuffen var också mycket. Fanns två varmrätter att välja på samt soppa, sallader och olika efterrätter. Utsikt mot Panamakanal, där vi kunde se containerfartyg komma förbi. Frank i receptionen fixade frukostpaket till oss, då vi inte hann med någon frukost avresedagen.

The wait staff was excellent (especially Erick), they referred to everyone in my group by name. Concierge was always eager to help (shout out to Jisarhelly) I called her Jisa and Juan (the bellboy) was always there to assist in any and every way. I will definitely be back.
It was a wonderful vacation staying 11 nights at the El Panama Hotel in March 2024. It is very central and very clean. My room was huge. The employees at the reception, the restaurant, house keeping and maintainance are all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffett was large and tasty, with lots to choose. The pool is big and the area around green with palm trees. 2 nice cats live around the pool. Every day clean pool towels. The Piña Coladas at the pool bar are delicious. In my opinion the only hotel in Panama city with such a beautiful pool area. The hotel itself dates back to the 1960s and has the flair of the old days and local style, exactly what I wanted. Here and there they are in the process of making small necessary improvements, the mattresses are a bit soft, the AC regulators in some rooms need to be changed. Solutions were provided quickly by the staff and I was able to have a relaxing time. I will be back soon.
