Everything you need for a comfortable stay plus a carpark space - although be ready for some tight turns up floor levels. Instructions on checking in are detailed, slightly complex, but managed just fine. Maybe needs a note/photo about which door is accessible from carpark level. Apartment harbour views are gorgeous being high up. Surprisingly a very quiet apartment when windows are shut. Beds are on the firm side but comfy enough. Otherwise, it was a lovely apartment living experience in Wellington, thank you!

The location was very good: close to Cuba Street and the city centre. Being on top of a low hill, it has a nice city view as its name suggests. Though the room was not too big, it has everything you need: a well-equipped kitchen and a spacious bathroom, besides the comfy double bed. You can also park your car in the hotel’s car park. Staff was very helpful, too. When we told them the refrigerator was not working, they replaced one for us immediately. This is really a good base for you to explore Wellington.

Helpful front desk. Large comfortable hotel rooms, many with a small balcony so you can opt for a little fresh air rather than air-conditioning. Ten-minute walk from Hotel to center of town and shops. Hotel is in great location for public transport. A five-minute walk to Wellington Rail Station which includes shuttle bus to InterIslander Ferry going to South Island - Picton. Wellington Airport access is also easy with "Airport Express - AX" bus service available close to Wellington Rail station.

Great location, close to all you may require with your stay in Wellington CBD. Warm friendly welcome on arrival 😊 and helpful. I booked a 2 bedroom apartment. Was not disappointed. Great size, everything you would need for your stay. Washing machine, dryer. 2 good-size bedrooms, nice comfy beds 1 with onsuite, as well as a separate bathroom. Kitchenette with oven and hob. Lounge area. Even thou in the CBD was nice and quiet. I would definitely book again, when next in Wellington. Highly recommend 👌

Very helpful and friendly staff, and able to check in a bit earlier. Modern, clean and well appointed room with comfy bed. Paid extra for parking but this was conveniently located under the hotel with a lift so no problem with luggage. Hotel was easy to access from the motorway into Wellington. All the main sights were walkable from the hotel, and it is right next to the cable car up to the botanic gardens. Good value and recommend for a short break.

The location was great for a quiet break, the night time noises were from ruru and other native birds, not noisy humans. The apartment was very spacious which also GREATLY added to the relaxing nature of the break. With the weather being Wellington on not such good days, the apartment was ideal for kicking back and relaxing in front of the TV or reading. The bed was super comfy and the heat pumps kept the whole apartment nice and cosy.

The hotel room was clean and we love the details of our rooms, the TV can be adjusted to the proper position and the remote to control the curtains. The hotel was so handy to walk around Wellington Central area. Only 5 minutes to Te Papa museum and waterfront, 8 minutes walk to Cuba st and 10 minutes drive to airport. Reception staff was helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back!

We were in love with this hotel, the decor and amenities were top notch plus the location could not be beat. The fresh coffee on each floor in the morning plus use of free laundry facilities really put this over the top when compared to other hotels we stayed at on our trip. If we ever find ourselves back in Wellington we will without a doubt stay at The Intrepid again.

Lovely hotel, neat, tidy and comfortable, great staff and a great breakfast. Probably one of the best stays we have had in Wellington in the modest price bracket and better than a few that are $30-$50 dearer. Will definitely consider it again when next in Wellington. Added bonus is the hotel is only a 5-10 minute stroll to some of the best restaurants in Wellington.

The bed was terrible and the bathrooms were disgusting. Water was flooding and then was hair everywhere. I have not experienced a hostel with so many children running around the halls shouting and pounding on the walls. The conditions of the facility were unacceptable and if I was to stay in Wellington more than two nights I would have checked in to another hostel.

I was travelling to New Zealand with my sister to see our brother and flying down to the South Island from Wellington. Anam Cara is about 45 minutes drive, so we decided to stay somewhere peaceful, and this fitted the bill perfectly. Everything about the place is top quality, and it's set in remarkably well maintained grounds. Don't hesitate to book.

Centrally located in Wellington CBD and a short walk to the quay to waterside restaurants and the Wellington museum. Also up market shopping nearby, lots of eateries and good coffee too. Comfortable lounge area and a good TV with Sky. We had a hire car so the public car park across the road was very handy, booked through the Quest Apartment reception.

Perfect little homely studio, with everything we could need plus extra touches we really appreciated. Such a lovely host who was extremely accomodating and knowledgeable about the area. Apartment was directly across from the train station which made getting into Wellington super easy with kids. Would definitely stay again when visting the Wellington area.

Super hostel. Plenty of space to relax, whether in the spacious lounge, the garden sun house or at the large dining table. Two large kitchens with plenty of fridge and storage space. My 'dorm' had only two beds. The staff were friendly & helpful and all the guests were courteous and great too. Just 10-15 min walk to Wellington centre.

Great location - close to Cuba Street which has heaps of restaurants and cafe's. Walking distance to Te Papa and Courtney Place, where you can grab a bus to explore beyond Wellington CBD. The apartment has a good kitchenette (2 plate hob, microwave & dishwasher), pots, cutlery etc. Very well kitted out.

Large apartment with plenty of space, decently equipped kitchen (good for a few nights stay) and large bathroom. Well situated in Wellington. Staff are helpful and friendly. Pretty clean and tidy room, clean bed linen. Nice building decor. Great price, especially considering the time of year. I would go back there.

Literally everything was perfect: stunning apartment very nicely designed, superb view, excellent coffee and all details just perfect. I don’t very often rate a perfect 10 but this is the perfect stay-over when you are in Wellington ! 5 min Uber to centre or 25 min walk. We did both :)

The apartment was everything I needed for my time in Wellington. I really appreciated how clean and tidy everything was, and the welcome message was a nice touch. It was great to have some little snacks provided, and the communication from the hosts made everything clear and easy.

The property is located right in the heart of Wellington. Easy to walk around and get to restaurants and shops around the corner. The rooms are spacious and clean and they have decent food options. The staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely good for the price we paid.

I stayed at Ramada by Wyndham Wellington Taranaki Street whilst on business in New Zealand. Rooms are very well equipped, particularly useful were the washing machine, tumble dryer. The hotel is conveniently located for Cuba Street and Wellington CBD.
