After a month in New Zealand it was again convenient to stay for a longer 4 night stay in self contained accommodation with great cooking facilities and a washing machine. The pantry was well stocked with food items and on our second day a package arrived with some fruit and milk. We could walk into Wellington CBD therefore we didn’t need a car. It was great to see that the small balcony off the kitchen that has been out of bounds for quite some time has been recently fixed but a set of outside chairs mean you could appreciate the view.

The location was very good: close to Cuba Street and the city centre. Being on top of a low hill, it has a nice city view as its name suggests. Though the room was not too big, it has everything you need: a well-equipped kitchen and a spacious bathroom, besides the comfy double bed. You can also park your car in the hotel’s car park. Staff was very helpful, too. When we told them the refrigerator was not working, they replaced one for us immediately. This is really a good base for you to explore Wellington.

Great location in Wellington. The 2 bedroom apartment has a larger bedroom with ensuite toilet, then a small bedroom with separate bathroom with toilet and shower. The kitchen, living and dining areas are a good size. There's no onsite restaurant but we had room service takeaway Thai from a nearby restaurant and it was excellent. Short walk to cafes for breakfast and very close to many touristy things to do. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

The location was great for a quiet break, the night time noises were from ruru and other native birds, not noisy humans. The apartment was very spacious which also GREATLY added to the relaxing nature of the break. With the weather being Wellington on not such good days, the apartment was ideal for kicking back and relaxing in front of the TV or reading. The bed was super comfy and the heat pumps kept the whole apartment nice and cosy.

The hotel room was clean and we love the details of our rooms, the TV can be adjusted to the proper position and the remote to control the curtains. The hotel was so handy to walk around Wellington Central area. Only 5 minutes to Te Papa museum and waterfront, 8 minutes walk to Cuba st and 10 minutes drive to airport. Reception staff was helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back!

Lovely hotel, neat, tidy and comfortable, great staff and a great breakfast. Probably one of the best stays we have had in Wellington in the modest price bracket and better than a few that are $30-$50 dearer. Will definitely consider it again when next in Wellington. Added bonus is the hotel is only a 5-10 minute stroll to some of the best restaurants in Wellington.

IBIS was and is an excellent mid-range hotel to stay at and explore the Wellington waterfront, scenery and nearby attractions. It is a well-positioned hotel on Featherston street with easy access to all Musuems, Parliament, nightlife and Ferry/boat transport to the upper South Island. Value for money it is likely we would stay there again. Regards Brent + R

The bed was terrible and the bathrooms were disgusting. Water was flooding and then was hair everywhere. I have not experienced a hostel with so many children running around the halls shouting and pounding on the walls. The conditions of the facility were unacceptable and if I was to stay in Wellington more than two nights I would have checked in to another hostel.

Beautiful looking property and the rooms were fantastic too! Extremely spacious rooms with great light and views. The furnitures were top notch with the biggest TV I've seen in a hotel! The staff was lovely. The bar and restaurant was also very good. Great spread at the breakfast. And absolutely the best location to stay in Wellington right on Cuba Street.

I was travelling to New Zealand with my sister to see our brother and flying down to the South Island from Wellington. Anam Cara is about 45 minutes drive, so we decided to stay somewhere peaceful, and this fitted the bill perfectly. Everything about the place is top quality, and it's set in remarkably well maintained grounds. Don't hesitate to book.

Perfect little homely studio, with everything we could need plus extra touches we really appreciated. Such a lovely host who was extremely accomodating and knowledgeable about the area. Apartment was directly across from the train station which made getting into Wellington super easy with kids. Would definitely stay again when visting the Wellington area.

The hotel is close to the city centre, so is within walking distance of restaurants and the function that I visited Wellington to attend. I paid for the site parking so that I could leave my car there safely for two nights. The room was warm and quiet, the lighting was excellent, the shower had plenty of hot water and the bed was very comfortable.

Literally everything was perfect: stunning apartment very nicely designed, superb view, excellent coffee and all details just perfect. I don’t very often rate a perfect 10 but this is the perfect stay-over when you are in Wellington ! 5 min Uber to centre or 25 min walk. We did both :)

The apartment was everything I needed for my time in Wellington. I really appreciated how clean and tidy everything was, and the welcome message was a nice touch. It was great to have some little snacks provided, and the communication from the hosts made everything clear and easy.

I stayed at Ramada by Wyndham Wellington Taranaki Street whilst on business in New Zealand. Rooms are very well equipped, particularly useful were the washing machine, tumble dryer. The hotel is conveniently located for Cuba Street and Wellington CBD.

Facilities are spotless with eclectic decor. Rooms and bedding were comfortable, and it was a bonus to have a washer and dryer in the room. Hotel location just outside of Wellington in a neighborhood convenient to restaurants, bars, shopping, etc.

The kitchen side of the apartment was well equipped. There is a great view over the bay both from the balcony and the bed. Not too far to walk in to the main part of Wellington and a few decent places to eat nearby. The bed was very comfortable.

I like the fact you drive off the motorway and straight into the Hotel, when you leave you're back on the motorway easily. Location is perfect for concerts just a walking distance. We stayed here everytime we come to Wellington.

Fantastic find in Wellington not far from famous cable cars. Lovely apartment, very clean, sky TV so all sport was on. Fantastic helpful friendly & professional staff. Really enjoyed my short 2 day stay at guest apartment hotel.

Hotel located close to amenties and an easy walk to key Wellington attractions. Added benefit of a taxi rank out the front which made getting to the South Island Ferry very easy. Room was clean and neat and very comfortable.
