Our host Sara was awesome, The tiny house was so comfy, everything was all on hand. Had all facilities, utensils much more from breakfast spreads to cleaning materials, which I've never ever experienced at any other stays.

the owners Dean and Louise met us as we arrived and were so friendly. they made us feel like part of their family, which is just perfect when you’re so far from home. their hospitality was generous and gracious. beautiful stay.
People are pleasant and caring. The mood is pleasant.
People are pleasant and caring. The mood is pleasant. A safe and happy little town. Caters well for children. Good parks and reserves dotted around in the community. People are caring for the environment. Quite a few different places to visit eg Akatarawas for hiking, beaches, river,...
A really nice pizza place near a petrol station. A good chinese resto (Eastern Egret?) near the Woolworths.
I came for a funeral, so stayed around family and grieved with them.
I saw the retirement village called Winiara near Elizabeth St, which was very welcoming. My cousin has been very happy there.
Oh, Waikanae has a little local bus service. Every 30 mins I think.

Toi Mahara Gallery was excellent.
Toi Mahara Gallery was excellent. Also excellent was the Olive Cafe just along from the gallery. All the food was homemade and delicious - very hard to decide what to eat. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to check out Waikanae Beach. We had dinner at Prah Ta Pang a Cambodian restaurant. It was also delicious and would highly recommend it.

The photos of the property lived up to our the warm and sunny property we stayed at. Our grandsons had no time for screens and just played outside, with the the sticks being a highlight and lots of superheros play. Loved the trampoline and swings too! We were 10mins drive to the beach, shops, pool, restaurants etc. The kitchen had everything we needed.
Thank you for a wonderful stay at this special property. We would love to visit in the future.

I have lived in Kapiti for many years so am very familiar with the region. Waikanae is a lush green area, with a stunning family friendly safe beach. For entertainment there are a number of , and variety of, eateries, also a resturant and bar
perfectly suitable for all ages to enjoy.

Waikanae is a real treasure.
Waikanae is a real treasure. Not congested and in the perfect location to be far but not too close to Wgtn central. Fabulous beach and excellent train service. Shops etc. we're great and travel distance to Paraparaumu and Peka Peka beaches each way is awesome.

The breakfast was great very yummy. The accomodation was close to both Waikanae and Paraparaumu golf courses . Very private ,quiet and comfortable . We would definitely stay there again
The location is extremely handy to Waikanae beach and to the motorway. The room decor is lovely, the bathroom shower is huge. Hosts made everything so easy.
