The room had a large covered deck with picnic table was a great spot for leaving muddy boots or sitting in the sun. Staff were friendly helpful and efficient would definitely recommend and come and stay again. Meals were amazing at the bistro

We were warmly welcomed into a space that is comfortable and spacious. What I particularly liked was that there was attention given to details which may seem minor, but really do make a difference. Things such as having soft and fluffy towels, hot drink packets topped up daily, bathroom amenities and so forth. It is really convenient to the rest of the town, and is a great base for exploring the Catlins as the drive to various destinations is not too far and Owaka has a number of places to eat at. Definitely book in here!

Watch the waves roll onto the beach from your garden at this Kaka Point guest house. Free WiFi is also provided to show others the wonderful sea views from your accommodation. Everything was fine, very nice appartment looking onto ocean, we highly recommend.
