Situated in Takaka in the Tasman region, Labyrinth Gardens Guest House offers accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. I can't believe one motel can be so neatly managed and wonderfully organised. I bet the owner must love the house so much that he put tremendous effort to keep it clean, organised or even sophisticated. It is a big garden we are living in. Not far from the town centre, easy to find, and wonderful to stay in. The stars are also great if you want to stay late and watch the sky. Will definitely stay again next time.

Tophouse Historical Inn Bed and breakfast has a garden, terrace, a bar and barbecue facilities in Saint Arnaud. Situated 34 km from Rainbow Valley, the property features a shared lounge. We had a lovely time at Tophouse Inn, we really enjoyed spending time with Helen and Clint! We had the Inn to ourselves with them (do not miss the chance to have a beer in the smallest bar in NZ!) and enjoyed a great dinner cooked by their chef Sebastian. They have done a great job restoring and maintaining this gem in a beautiful location. We would definitely recommend staying here for any travellers passing by the Nelson lakes. Bathrooms and bedrooms were exceptionally clean. They had the fires on to keep the place warm.

Exceeded our expectations - lush. Comfy and cosy. Sort of place you find yourself wanting to hang around in. Garden a stunning joy. Black fantail and Molly the dog - icing on the cake. Lovely host.

Leigh was very welcoming and the room was clean and comfortable. The room had a Victorian feel - lots of linen and lace We really enjoyed the outdoors experience of staying here... kitchen/dining outside, close to a stream etc. Self serve breakfast, cereal, croissants and fruit. Plenty of parking. Close to town and the New World Supermarket for groceries.
