Gibbston Valley Lodge and Spa ligger i hjertet af vinregionen Central Otago, blot 20 minutters kørsel fra Queenstown Lufthavn. The property was fabulous from check in to check out. All the staff were extremely friendly and very welcoming. The room was well appointed with lots of little fine touches such as a candle and matches by the bath. The wine tasting was fun to do, the food in the restaurant was delicious, we ate in there both nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I had a facial in the spa which was the best I’ve had in a long time. We were sad to leave and would happily have spent a few more days there exploring the vineyards and relaxing. But I have to say the staff made it! Thank you for looking after us so well, we will be back!

Everything was amazing with our stay in the spire hotel. Firstly, the reception staff was really professional and helpful, she even initiated to help us decide on where to have for dinner and booked the table for us. Secondly, the room is massive, there’s even a separated section for the wardrobe. The water pressure is amazing, which is really important to us. The fireplace makes the room so warm and cozy. They have smart tv as well, with Netflix and YouTube installed. All their non alcoholic beverages at the minibar are complimentary. They serve amazing breakfast as well, not the buffet style, but ala carte, and you can choose to have it in your room or in the restaurant. We had dinner at their restaurant on our first night, the food was unexpectedly great, and the bill came so much more reasonable than other restaurants we went during the trip. Everything was just spectacular.

The rooms are lovely and spacious, the staff warm and welcoming, and the amenities included in the room are a pleasant surprise. Our new favourite place in Queenstown.

Ecoslines ligger 26 km fra centrum af Glenorchy og tilbyder transport til Routeburn Track, som ligger 17 km fra ejendommen. The scenery is out of the world, the accommodation in itself is pretty self sufficient with modern gadgets provided. Loved the jacuzzi and the projector for some midnight movie.
