Amazingly convenient location - you can walk straight from the bus or train platform into the hotel, grab ski passes in reception and get on the gondola up to the slopes. Rooms were spacious and comfortable..The breakfast buffet was incredible with a huge selection and for 85 nok you can pack a lunch to take up to the slopes which is a fraction of the cost of buying something up there.

All the staff we met during our stay were incredibly kind and helpful. In our case the lady at the reception made a real differnce for us. By mistake I booked 4 instead of 2 rooms. She helped me to cancel the 2 extra rooms which we didn't need where we formally couldn't cancel it anymore at that point.

Situated along Hardanger Fjord, this waterfront hotel offers views of Folgefonna Glacier, indoor and outdoor pools, along with a private beach area. Wi-Fi access and private parking are both free. Everything was perfect especially the water sports facilities, the excellent food and wonderful views.

On the ground floor of the hotel, there was a bakery with the most delicious pastries and good coffee. The room itself was clean, with a tiny kitchen and all the necessary utensils. We stayed as a group of four and had beds in separate rooms; essentially, it was two separate rooms with individual entrances, connected by a door. We had breakfast included, but it's worth noting that breakfast is served at another hotel, about a 5-minute walk away.
