Featuring city views, Hotel The Happy Traveler provides accommodation with a balcony, around 700 metres from Simplon Music Venue. The Happy Traveler was a pleasant surprise. The rooms are thought out and excellent. The family room had games and the balcony in the other room we had was large and surprising with a nice seating area and hammock chairs. We loved our stay and would choose the Happy Traveler if we return to Groningen.

Van der Valk Hotel Groningen-Hoogkerk is located in Eelderwolde, directly next to the A7 highway. Groningen is 4 km from the hotel and guests can enjoy the restaurant. Everything! Superb room, we booked a junior suite, the bathroom eas out if this world! Spotlessly clean and very spacious and comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful and the food at breakfast and in the restaurant was exceptional, inventive and delicious. A superb stay and if we are in the vicinity again it would be the only place I would stay
