I was in Ometepe for a short amount of time so opted to be close to the ferry. I did not expect the feeling of being so remote. The property is beautiful, well spaced out, with adorable chickens roaming around and many blooming flowers! The common and pool area is ideal to read or work. The staff take pride in ensuring the property is impecable and are super helpful. The pasta is made on site and everything is super fresh. I was obsessed with their mango passion fruit smoothy.

Everyone at the hotel was super nice and helpful to us, specially Carlos which we had the chance to share some time with him. The room was nice, the AC was working smoothly and almost noiseless, the shower had hot and cold water with a good amount of water and the hotel itself was feeling really peaceful, with a nice garden area with some chickens around. To us, after some days in cabins and eco houses, having nice walls and some crystal windows was what we were looking for. The lake is just at one side and you can see it while having breakfast, which by the way is pretty good. The place is close to some interest points of the island. I can only recommend the place.

The location, the colors, but especially the people. Juana and Annie went above and beyond to accommodate me during my stay. They helped answer questions, make recommendations, and made me feel most welcome. They all speak very good English which was appreciated as my Spanish is very bad. They helped me book day trips. They even walked with me around the town showing me some of their favorite spots. The room was clean and large and had a fan that worked really well. The breakfast and smoothies are wonderful. Great locations right by the ferry port. I recommend this hostel 100%

Ubytovanie El Encanto Garden Hotel sa nachádza v destinácii Santa Cruz 16 min. chôdze od miesta Pláž Playa de Santo Domingo. The place is very well situated, it has a wonderful view of the conception volcano with a beautiful garden in the foreground. We saw many birds, butterflies, and even hummingbirds. Also, it was the only place during our whole trip where we were able to have a good coffee.

Every evening you can watch the sunset over the lake. Also the food in the restaurant is amazing and for the free breakfast you can just choose from the menu and have a juice or another drink with it. The staff is super helpful with arranging taxis, scooter rentals, kayak tours etc. Would defenitely recommend this hostel!

If you need to travel with your car, you can contact the hotel, and they can’t make the reservation for the car or van so you don’t have to going crazy trying to get your car in the ferry you need to travel with your car, you can contact the them to tell and they can’t make the reservation or if you don’t have transportation they send you a transportation is very comfortable van for only $30 for your family. We was 8a People. and this is very important. They are tendons name is Salvador and odornilio they was amazing.
