The hotel is extremely close walking distance to the city center, but far away enough that you don’t hear any noise from the center it is so quiet and tranquil I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. Hearing the birds in the morning was my favorite. Theres no children (win) and its a beautiful experience for couples. They even made my birthday extra special with flowers which is super appreciated because I unfortunately have food poisoning *NOT from the hotel* it’s a very small property, which i appreciate. they are currently adding a coffee shop to the property as well as adding some landscaping while we were staying there. Its so nice I cant wait to go back.

Located just across the road from the main bus stop, and just a short 10 minute walk to the main, buzzy square, and also a short walk to the beach, Ximena hotel is like a calm oasis, away from the hustle and bustle of Sayulita. The building is spotlessly clean, and rooms are very spacious. We had an issue in our room when we first arrived where one of the sinks was leaking. But we reported it and were immediately given another room instead, without any trouble. The shower is huge and very good, lovely toiletries provided too, which smelled gorgeous. There is lots of space for luggage in the room, and a nice fan plus AC to keep cool. We had a small balcony with a table and chairs, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee. A bottle of purified water is provided in the room, and there is a cold water dispenser in the main corridor which can be used to refill bottles, which was so handy. The rooftop pool was the highlight for us. So peaceful and relaxing to lounge up there away from the crowds, and enjoy the heated pool.
