It was a lovely place overall, but difficult for the wheelchair user in our group, who could only go to 2 of the 17 listed tourist attractions (that's right, 2 out of the 17 tourist attractions listed in the 'Visit Morelos' brochure had wheelchair access). This cast a shadow over our trip. We would have loved to have seen more of the history and culture of this beautiful town. It would not be hard to include everyone in most of the Morelos attractions by putting in a few ramps.
The location of the hotel was really perfect! A couple of minutes walking from the bus station (Pulman de Morelos Centro) and a couple of minutes more to the Zocalo. The hotel also has a kind of historic feel. Staff is friendly. And although I had a room on the frontside of the hotel, on a street with lots of traffic, I did sleep very well, because the is much less traffic at night (it starts again at 6 ot 7 AM).
Hotel Colonial is a wonderful hotel, with cheerful decoration, great location, clean. Staff are great, friendly, helpful. They can organise local laundry service. Just cross the bridge over the river from the centre of Yautepec and Hotel Colonial is near the famous mural exhibit walk-way. Buses are available nearby towards Tepoztlan, and other towns in Morelos. Clean, budget price, great staff.
A good location about 10 minutes walk to the Zocalo and only 2 blocks from the Pullman de Morelos bus station. There are good cafes and a bar near there. Nice people, a good little covered porch-terrace for the room, and a swimming pool.

This place is amazing! The whole hotel is a work of art, the food is great and very creative, the staff is very friendly and keep a close eye on their clients. I haven't used all their services and facilities, but I certainly will on my next visit!

Felt like home! Staff were amazing. The location is perfect it's at the beginning of the town, extremely central walking distance to everything. Clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Beautiful garden, and setting. Had everything we needed and more. Can't wait to come back and stay with friends and family.
