I highly recommend this hotel. We had to get a US passport for my baby at the consulate next door (and it's literally the next building) and this was the perfect place to stay in a rather rough town. Everything worked, the restaurant employees figured out how to get us fed, even when the restaurant was officially closed, they let us check in early and check out late. The AC in our first room didn't work, but their maintenance man swapped out the entire AC unit quickly and when that didn't fix it, management moved us to another room as quickly as possible. Ultimately the maintenance man did fix the AC and they could have moved us back to our first room if we had wanted to, but we were tired and the second room was fine too. So if you have business at the consulate, I highly recommend it. I would say the entire staff likes the hospitality business and they are quite good at it. I suggest that you reward them for their excellence with your business.

Nothing much in Chihuahua but a perfect spot to end a trip after coming through the copper Canyon OK for quick overnight stop
Creel is the ideal stopping off point if you want to see more of the canyon than you can from the train. There is also plenty of tour and activity options that are easily arranged, and bus options from here through to Chihuahua if you want to leave in the morning to arrive before dark.
Good place to leave the train. Bus link to Chihuahua runs every two hours and takes about 5 hours. Spectacular scenery, but day is more than enough.
It's a great place to stop en route to el cañón del cobre from Chihuahua. Beautiful views. Stay at a hotel on cañón rim for stunning views. There are not many places to eat so plan ahead. I stayed at mirador posada barranca with food included. There are various walks and tours on offer from the hotel,
Downtown has many nice bars but everything closes early. Chihuahua is a city of Sebastian's sculptures, for me it was the main highlight.

a huge city to drive around. no ring road (that i could find) for easy exit. as always, the mexican people were very charming and helpful. i'm just not used to very large cities -- toll roads in the state were all easy to follow and bi-large straight. i am a 70s, single woman and never felt nervous. a great experience in the state of chihuahua'
We didn’t really see much of Chihuahua. It was just a stop over between Mazatlan and our destination. We were very impressed with the road infrastructure.
beautiful boutique hotel, reception and accomodations, shuttle to everywhere. had medical issue there and all staff, receptionist, drivers, went above and beyond to assist, including restaurant chef sending over meal. short walk to beautiful views. bus picked us up here for trip to Chihuahua.
